Chaper 3: A New Arrival

Two Weeks Later

Todays the day of the dreaded arrival of my twin sister, Penelope. She just broke up with her boyfriend, who just happened to me her manager, and decided to give up her career in modeling. Its highly likely that she'll be in a mood and treat me worse than she already does. Jesse's driving me to the airport so that I stay calm. I have a feeling that today will be horrible. My alarm didn't ring so I wasn't remotely ready when Jesse came to pick me up. Jesse laughed when I got in the car and I was in such a hurry that I forgot to change out of my pjs.

"I like your cupcake slippers, " he said in between laughs.

I took one off and threw it at his forehead. "Its not funny Jesse stop laughing!! " I pouted as he rubbed his head. He stopped laughing but a smile remained on his face when he handed back my slipper.

"Alina I have to tell you somet-" Jesse got cut off by the sound of my phone ringing.

"Hold that thought, " I told him as I answered my phone.

"Hello? "

"Alina where the hell are you?! " My twin yelled.

"On my way right now I slept late." I replied plainly. Jesse began driving and I buckled in my seatbelt.

"Hurry up!! My head is killing me and this place is really loud!. " she yelled.

"Whatever." I hung up.

"Jesse what were you going to tell me? " I looked at him curiously.

"Nevermind it we're here. Do you want me to get your sister? "

"N - yes please " I spoke as I realised what I was wearing. Jesse got out of the car quickly and 20 minutes later he came out with my sister on one arm and her bags on the other. I got out and helped with the bags then Penelope ran and took my seat in Jesse's truck. I glared at the side of her head as Jesse finished putting the bags in the backseat. He grabbed my arm then tried pulled me, when I didn't budge he picked me up and threw me over his shoulder I screeched when he put me in the backseat next to the bags. He quickly child -locked the doors then closed it so I couldn't get out.

I sat back, crossed my arms and pouted.

"You're such a kid Alina, Jesse will never fall for someone like you." Penelope commented.

I tuned her out and began to fall asleep. Jesse got in the car moments later and drove us home. I woke up when the car stopped and Jesse opened my door.

"Home sweet home " I said stretching. Jesse lifted me out of the truck and onto the ground. I realized I had to pee then ran to the door, unlocked it, and ran to the bathroom. After I was done I went back outside and saw Jesse and Penelope making out. I rushed inside and locked myself inside my room. I felt like someone drowned me in a pool then ripped my heart out I couldn't stop crying. I turned my radio up loud so no one could hear then got under the covers in my bed and cried until I fell asleep.

*Dream*

"Alina you didn't seriously think I'd ever like you right?" Jesse said with a serious look on his face, " I just used you to get to Penelope. You aren't as beautiful as your sister or intelligent that's probably why your mother killed herself, cause she probably never thought someone as gullible and as ugly as you are could be brought into this world. Maybe you should do the same, no one would really care. Your father and brother barely come around so its not like Penelope cares about you Alina ." Tears run down my face as the boy I fell in love with shatters me into million pieces with his words. I run from the room and into the street then a car smashes into my body and everything turns black.

*Dream Over*

I wake up screaming and Jesse is banging in my door asking if I'm okay and to open the door. I get out of bed but slip on the sheets falling backwards into the hardwood floors. I hear Jesse began to bang even louder but I feel too tired to get up, my hair began to feel damp so I reached behind my head which instantly became wet, I looked at them and saw red, then heard the door burst open. My vision began to become blurry until all sight was gone and everything went black.
