Intro:
"Okay let's prctice the pantomine ladies and gentlemen!" Ugh this woman is going to kill us we've been practicing for 7 hours with only two breaks. Two girls have pissed their leotards, one passed out from exhaustion, and that only leaves five female dancers to practice and eight males. Of course I'm used to this she's been my dance teacher for 15 years. I've learned how to keep my exhaustion and blatter under control. She's pretty hard on me though, its probably because she expects the most from me. Most of these girls have only been here for five years or less so they are all very envious of me because they think I'm her favorite, which I probably am. The only other person who's known her for the same amount of time as me is, Jesse. He's the lead male dancer, and the most gorgeous guy here. He doesn't even acknowledge me most of the time, even though we have ballroom together and do most of the leads together. It's like I don't even exist to him. The only time we talk is during hip hop when I help him with the dance moves. Crap we have a recital in three days for hip hop. "Lina get your head together and stop staring at Mr. Anderson." Well that got his attention and everyone else's.
"Yes Ma'am." I said with my head down. She knows about my crush and insists on making me embrassed around him.
"Head up!" When I looked up I saw Jesse smiling and everyone else holding in laughter."You girls think it's funny huh?"Everyone then became quiet."Answer me!"
"No Madame Trinity!" Everyone replied
"Well then since everyone thinks this is so funny..... Get in fifth position and execute the pantomime perfectly. If it is not done correctly everyone has to do 8 tendus right, 8 left, 4 right, 4 left, 2 right, 2 left, 1 right, and 1 left on the face bar. Then you shall repeat again starting with the left foot. You will keep going until I say stop, remember you start on the opposite foot than the time before. Let's hope we get this correct ladies and gentlemen. Also when you see the others who wimpered out today tell them they're contract with the Gracelin Dance Company has ended. Positions now........Begin!" she exclaimed. When we finished our pantomine I saw tears in her eyes." That was beautiful guys
I've never seen something so extraordinary and from my students. I'm so proud of you. I've never in my 20 years of teaching dance seen something so marvelous. Brava ladies! Bravo guys! Group hug and then you are dismissed. Bring it in!" She said with a huge smile in her face. We all ran up and gave her a hug. When we separated Madame Trinity told us to hold on and left the room. She was gone for awhile so I took Jesse with me to go look for her. As we walked around and called her name, I spotted a figure on the floor someways down the hall. I stopped in my tracks as I recognized the person. Jesse rushed in her direction but I just stayed there. "Someone get help! Lina!" He called. I couldn't respond, I couldn't move I was stuck. I guess someone else got help cause I heard footsteps running towards the direction they were in. This can't be happening, not today. Not now, I just lost my mother I can't lose Ms. Trinity too, this must be a dream. I keep trying to wake myself up, but it all became to real when one of the medics said " Its too late, she's dead." That's when I felt my knees go weak and tears start to run down my cheeks. I began to collapse, but instead of fallling on the floor I was grabbed and held close by two stong hands, that belong to who I'm guessing is Jesse. I began to sob harder into his chest as the paramedics carried her out on a stretcher with a sheet covered over her body. The woman who has been my second mother since I was three just died. She died. She's gone. Gone. Forever.
End of Into.
