I changed before I went to Chuck E. Cheese with Josiah because I'd look dumb going there super dressed up around little kids and pizza. Josiah had picked up Jordan and I so they could bond I guess. I sat in the back with Jordan only because he didn't want me to be up front with Josiah. Josiah did ask a lot of questions but I could tell he only wanted to get to know his son. "Jordan. Do you know your ABC'S? " Josiah asked and Jordan stayed silent laying on me. "He's sleep , J. " Josiah seemed hurt this entire car ride honestly. It was kind of funny but then again I have to have sympathy because he is Josiah's dad. Once we got to Chuck E. Cheese Jordan immediately grubbed into his pizza as Josiah and I sat at the booth.

"He doesn't know your his dad. I told you it'll take time , Josiah. "

He lips curled and he nodded slowly. "So how you been Tori? "

"Just fine." I said.

"What exactly do you do?" He asked.

"I'm a stylist and an assistant for a psychologist . " I replied and he smiled big , " You must make big bucks. "

I nodded , " All for my baby. "

"You know.. I just wanted to apologize for my actions when I was younger. I really hope you don;t think I'm the same person I was years ago. I've changed , Tori , honestly. For the better. And I want to be here in my son's life. Forever. I missed out on too much already. And yes , I'm still filled with questions . I wonder a lot and I know I made stupid decisions but I'm here now . And I'm staying. I just thought you should know that .. I know you were probably having some questions for me too ."

I nodded slowly. " Actions speak louder than words , Josiah. "

That night actually went well. Josiah totally went all out for JoJo. He played some games with him and tried to ease in on his good side. Jordan opened up a bit and started to talk to him . It was cool to see Jordan bonding with his dad. It put a smile on my face . I didn't really play any games I just took a lot of pictures of Jordan and Josiah together. It was getting late though so Josiah decided to drop us off at home . I hopped out the car and grabbed Jordan and our things.

"Thanks for tonight. You might have got a little connection there. " I smiled.

Josiah just stared at me and he didn't even blink. I waved my hand in his face and smacked his cheek a bit , "Josiah?"

"I'm sorry , " He said. " I just can't stop looking at how beautiful you are. "

I blushed a little. "Goodnight Josiah. "

"Tori ! , " He yelled silently , " Wait. "

" I was thinking maybe you and I could go out for dinner.... Just to catch up , you know. "

I nodded , "Sure. Why not ?"

Josiah smiled and pulled off in his car. I went inside took a shower and put Jordan to sleep. Of course I told Mya everything and she was happy to know that Jordan was finally bonding with his dad. It made me happy as well.

But for some reason I felt as if I was falling into his trap again.
