Leela's pov
"I'm so sorry I didn't mean to- ""Yeah I know. I didn't mean to hit you either" his replies seemed short and snappy. Fed up and not wanting to see me.
I don't want to see me either.
"I thought you were-"
"Well I'm not." His quick words seemed to pierce me in the heart, breaking me inside out.
"Let me help you up-"
"I'm good actually" he said lifting himself off the floor. His muscles bulging through his blazer.
And there, standing above me were the beautiful eyes of Lucas.
But as he looked down on me, his eyes were brimming with anger. But behind that, I could see the pain deep inside his eyes.
Wishing he could of helped Chloe.
All because of me.
"Anyway if your done looking at me-"
"Lucas, I just wanted to say I'm sorry. I didn't mean to send the-"
"Well you did."
His heart panged with guilt and now he was stabbing mine."Can I make it up to you? We can go round to Jamie's tonight- as friends of course. I don't care if you don't show up, I'll be waiting for you"
Once again, like there always is- the silence is back. Laying on your skin like poison, making your flesh crawl.
Then Lucas gently sighed and walked away.
I didn't know what that meant. But I was going to try and make it up to him.
