Chapter 10

I landed outside the city. You can't really fly inside because of the Magic Barrier surrounding the city. It's maintained 24/7 hours by mages and huge magic crystals. Salem is special. It's a city run by mages. There's even a mage academy. Nearly everything was done in Salem with magic.

My business however, is with the Acolytes Magic and Technology Research Facility (of course we have a research division. We even have a personal library.) is situated. Of Course it doesn't have a sign and everything. On the outside it's a normal player catering business which sells high quality equipments.
Inside is another story.

I put my hood up and walked through the gates. Once inside, I walked through the familiar streets to the shop. A few players were inside but I didn't give them any attention as I walked into the back.

"Nix. Rare to see you here" wow I didn't expect to see Leader here. Aliyah was beside him as well. He was talking to the person in charge Acolyte number 5.

"Mad Scientist" Vesta. He was classic mad scientist. He's brilliant when it comes to Magical Technology and is one of the reason we've been able to stay on top. He and his team makes the best equipments and potions. They discovered the various soul stone properties and how it can be used. But he's also a mad man. He conducts the worst experiments on the people he captured. He once captured an entire guild so he could test his new poison on them.

"Oh. You never come here. Its rare indeed. Not like your swords need any repair." Vesta slyly said glancing at my swords. "How's the beauties any ways."

"Oh I came here to discuss something. New gear" I smiled as I told him.

"Good thing you're here though. Finish up your business quickly. The Alliance has asked us to meet at Icy Plains. We'll leave when you're done" Percy looked angry. Aaliya too.

"Come on. If you're here then means you need something that'll include me. You're one troublesome sly kid." Vesta laughed as he led me into the forge room. The rest of them were there too.

Number 48 Rain. Vesta's second in command and wife. Both of them are the same. Rain is just a bit less heartless than Vesta.

The blacksmiths Troy, Wren and Alice were hard at work making different equipments.

Wren, number 62, he was one of the last to be honoured with the Acolyte invitation. He's a master at making weapons based on player needs and wants. He also helps write the books stored in the library.

Troy, number 24, master Smith of Acolytes. He forge the best and strongest weapons we've seen. Apart from that with the help of Alice, he's able to make the equipments magical.

That brings us to Alice, the magic expert. She's number 30. She started the game oddly. Unlike others she wanted to know the limitations of magic. Which, surprise surprise, is imagination. And also mana level. (You try doing a huge spell at level one. It'll a absorb your health before you can even blink. And even then it won't be complete).

"Hey guys. It's time for THAT" I snickered as I threw the stone to Alice.

"Ah this is. Hmm.. Clay already told us you'll be coming. Now tell us what you want." Wren and Troy had this crazy smile on their face too..

"Ok so..."

10 minutes later

"Hey boss man. Lets go."

"You got what you want?" that's our Leader. He's interested in everything.

"I've out the order but it should take a while according to Vesta and his crew. And judging by your expression and Clay's aura, I think I'll have the chance to test a new thing out" I knew this won't go peacefully.
