Chapter 15

Clay's PoV

"What do you think you're doing? You knew who he was. For once you could have tried and not attack everyone you meet."

I was mad. For one thing it looks like he lost control. For a second he attacked Logan. He knew who Logan was. Nix himself scouted the kid . There was absolutely no reason for him to just attack Logan.

"Clay Stop it. He's in no way to answer questions. Let's just go ok." Rosa was worried about Nix. He still wasn't answering me. The killing intent had dimmed down now. So that's one good thing.

"No. Answers. Now. Can't you have just stood down for once? Why do you insist on fighting everyone?"

I wanted answers simple as that. And he wasn't answering.

"... so I should've just run away? Is that ALWAYS your plan Clay? Whenever things get hard run away? Funny, wasn't that your plan 2 years ago too? Still can't believe I forgave you for that" Nix took out one of the teleporting seals.

"Leader, I'm going back to the Mountain Stronghold. Sorry for the troubles. See you later"

With that he disappeared.

"Wait Clay what's he talking about? 2 years ago the game wasn't even out. So how did the two of you even... Wait, 2 years ago?!?!? Don't tell me that was you."

I hung my head in shame as Rosa got angrier as the realisation came over her. My brother, was on the sidelines, he wasn't saying anything, letting things unfold.

"Look it was years ago and I was a kid..."

I started grasping at straws when I felt a fist hit me. Before I could react, I was kneed in the guts and round house punched before whoever it was grabbed me by the throat and slammed me to the ground.

The nauseating smell of rotting flesh and blood was stronger than ever. I stared at my attacker Rosa. She was being held back by my brother. He had that same unexplainable expression on his face.

She was struggling to get free from Percy's eyes. Her face was contorted with rage. But her eyes told a different story. Tears were streaming down her face uncontrollably.

"How could you do that to him? You vile piece of shit. You better get ready for a beating of a life time. The beating that poor boy never gave."

She struggled until she ran out strength and slumped into Percy's arms. He release her after making sure she was ok.

"You ok Rosa? There's no need to fight. Please go and see if Nix is ok. He looked like he might breakdown any second. I'll take care of Clay." Percy spoke for the first time, throwing a teleport crystal to her. I didn't say anything.

Rosa gave a curt nod, catchingthe teleport crystal in mid air. She was preparing to activate but I couldn't let her go just yet.

"Rosa, I know you hate me and everything, but please take care of him ok?"

She didn't even look at me. She just left

"You ok?" Perceus asked me. I nodded, picking myself up, my intent, to get out and blow off some steam and get my head straight.

"Wait don't leave. I still want to talk to you, but we also need to know what happened here. Nix was near tears. It must've been bad whatever it was. I'll ask Aaliyah to bring them here. Its gonna take time for them to get here but in the mean time I've set up barriers so whoever comes to this place see the academy and the school grounds with no corpses. Granted the smell will be there but hey, as long as they can't see it's alright isn't it?"

I swear sometimes for a leader of a guild so secretive as this one my brother is lazy. I stood there taking everything in as I looked at the carnage around me while my brother contacted Aaliyah.

"I contacted Aaliyah. She said she's coming along with them. Apparently it's gonna take some time" I nodded in acknowledgment.

Percy suddenly turned to me, making eye contact with me for the first time. "In the meantime, lets talk"

Guess this is the best time to really come clean about the whole thing with Nix.

Hey guys sorry for the short chapter. But I wanted to update ASAP.. thing is a lot has happened from the last update and now and that's why I haven't really updated. Hope this chapter is good and hopefully I'll write the next chapter ASAP
