Chapter 8

Clay's POV

She stood on the alter, her forest green hair falling down her shoulders.
She was beautiful in a sense. Her dark brown eyes were alluring. She wore a short see through dark green dress.

"Isn't she beautiful? Too bad we have to take her down" I could see his excited eyes through the small slits in his mask.

"Who are you?? And why are you inside my sacred place of worship" the priestess spoke.

"Hello Gaia's Priestess. I've come to kill you and take your soul stone." He couldn't be more blunt.

"Hmm. You'll find that that's easier said than done child. I'm a servant of Earth Goddess Gaia. I will not fail her"

With a wave of her hands she attacked. Rock formation after formation went after Nix. He jumped when it first struck, rolling to the right before sending off a long range slash attack.

"Is that your very best?? This is going to be easy?" The priestess mocked as she protected from the slashes with her hand.

Time to make my move before he looses it.

*Shadow Meld*

"You're not facing one opponent here. Keep your eyes open witch" I appeared behind her. As she turned around I struck.

*Scream for me Hell Reaver*

An ear deafening scream came out from my Scythe dazing and shocking the priestess.

*Dual Wield Perish Song*

Nix struck but she must've anticipated something like this because her body turned to stone and we heard a cackling at the other end.

"You think it's that easy to take me down? I'm Gaia's Priestess. I will not be defeated that easily"

"That is true. I should probably get serious"

*Shadow Step*

In a heart beat he was right infront of her. They exchanged blows back and fourth. He's just playing with her. If you think am angry Nix is scary, a composed Nix is 10 times worse. His psychological attacks are crippling.

Nix's StarBurst spell was blocked and the witch went instantly on the offense.

Large plants burst from the ground attacking. I dodged and cut the few that attacked me.

"ENOUGH OF THIS CHILD'S PLAY! I'M DONE WITH YOU"

Suddenly pressure in the room increased. Something felt wrong. This pressure... surely not!

Tattoos began appearing on her body. Her thin dress became an under garment as the earth around her moulded her new armour. Previously she channeled her magic purely from her hands. Now she held a staff that was radiating pure magic

I guess this is my queue to join in the fight.

"Nix. Lets go, double team like before.Yeah let's teach this bitch a lesson."

She didn't blink an eye lid as we ran at her swords and scythe drawn. She attacked with simple spells.

*Shadow Meld* this is gonna be easy. I'll appear behind her and take her down.

* Death Scythe*

The second my Scythe touched her armour it would've surely been repelled if I was a normal player. I tore open her armour cleaving straight through her shoulders nearly cutting her hand off.

"AAAHH how dare you" she screamed in agony.

"You underestimate me though. *Gaia's Blessing:- Earth's healing* what the hell her arm completely healed.

*more I need more* Hell reaver was shouting for blood. I prepared to strike again

"Clay stop. You don't need to bother. I'm more than enough. * Alpha Werelynx's Wrath*

Nix's PoV

I felt my body change. My fingers becoming more claw like, my body felt heavier as my armour changed into a bronze one with white striped fur with on the sides. My shoulder pads were decorated with gems arranged in a pattern. And my head sported a native American style headress . A feather necklace with a lynx on the end of it hung from my neck. My teeths, becoming more canine. My eyes changed colour to an orange hue as the more animal side took over. I felt electricity, lynx's element jolt through me.

"RAAAGH"

I screamed along with my monster soul as we rushed to attack the enemy. I viciously attacked with my swords landing blow after blow. She couldn't even keep up with my speed.

*Lighting Darkness Stream*

She tried to defend against it with an earth defense. It didn't work. The darkness and lightning imbued slash attack struck her destroying part of her armour. Exactly what I was waiting for. I struck my swords into the ground, freeing my hands.

"I'm not done yet Priestess"

"Time to finish this. Lets go WereLynx"

I threw a lightening bolt at the chained down Priestess. The kill was instant. She didn't even have time to scream.

I cancelled my wrath. And walked over to the place where the priestess fell. A single forest green gem was all that was left.

"So what are you gonna do? Absorb it?" Clay asked walking up to me from behind handing me my swords.

"I don't know. Might. Might not. And any ways who knows what'll happen if I absorb one more."

"Hmm that's true too. Lets get out and celebrate. "

"Yeah lets meet up later at WcDonalds. Your treat." I said with smiling.

"What hey?? That's not fair"

"Nah nah it is it is."

We argued all the way out of the Dungeon promising to meet an hour after logout.

*Unknown POV*

"Some kids destroyed the whole place? And Drake handed them the soul stone? You're useless. All of you. Now don't just stand there gawking at me. Get out and find those little bastards and get that soul stone back you here me"

So the alliance has new fire power huh. Well they won't. Not for long. Because I'm going to kill them. Painfully.

Hey sorry if this is a bit crappy. The fighting scene is hard to come up with and word with. It's super hard to write what you have imagined in your head.
