The waterfall flowed as smoothly as syrup. The frogs croaking nearby added to the wonderful sounds, The multiple flowers next to it were nodding gently gently in time with the gusts of winds, There was a whooshing vortex at the bottom, it was caused by the plummeting funnel of water that spiralled from on high. We were both lying adjacent to the cliff with our heads pointing at the waterfall. "Did you not know this was here Aurora?" I questioned. Her answer was merely just a fast shake of her head. The aura of this magnificent place was submerging Aurora's thoughts just as much it was mine, I'd never seen her orchid purple eyes glisten at all until now. I think because her whole life she has been stuck up in that cobweb covered metal oblong alone then I come along and only make her life suffer more, with my earthquake of a mother and me barging into her house and scaring her half to death, now dreamily lying hugging the damp grass must be a sigh of relief. "Hey I know" I bolted up "wanna play in the waterfall?" My guess was she was going to whack me in the face with a blunt no but instead the events that played out was; the scene was picture perfect. A group of Amazonian ferns, edged with saw's teeth and statue still, added a tropical flavour. We stood under the waterfall to cool down, but it was catacomb cold. It gave us goose bumps immediately. We ended up quivering and shivering on the bank. The nectar sweet smell of the spring flowers perked up our spirits, Aurora cupped her hands filling them with the silk flow of water then threw it all over my face, the water itself wasn't shocking it was the sprays of it in my eyes. I repeated what she did right back at her. After some dancing and rolling in the daises trying to dry I snagged my dress on a branch meaning my shoulder sleeve ripped off. For a short period of time Aurora looked worried that I would get mad but I had I different mind light. I pulled Aurora to her feet then without warning yanked off the bottom frills on her dress, I got the ends in each hands and tied them up in a knot around her shoulder and inter the armpit creating a sash. She did something way cooler though. First she ripped off the whole skirt section of my dress, pulled out the hair clip on my head then ran over to a rock and sharpened it, pulled down the top section of my dress to my waist and finally clipped the bottom half on my rib-cage; basically the top and bottom parts were switched around. Her face gleamed at me for approval unfortunately she was a bit disappointed with my first reaction which was my mouth wide open but then I jumped all over the place with appreciation. Not much happened for a while just our eyes playing ping-pong across this amazing picture we were in. My eyelashes covered my sight nearly forgetting what happened at home. Little flutters of wings dotted across the scene avoiding the drips of fresh water, the breeze touched my slash right in the middle of my cheek from my mum and her stupid ring. Aurora glanced over at me feeling the cut so crawled over, with one fearless rip she had pulled off the plaster I gave her and placed it over my cut. "Thanks" I gave her a little tight hug and went right back to closing my eyes.
An echo of stomps and clambers to the side of me ringed in my ears, I looking up only to see Aurora standing on the edge where I jumped one hour ago. I guess I must of fell asleep again. She was being so brave with one confusing sound "ahhhooo" and one brave spring against the rock she was paused in the air. Her jump move was the cliché cannonball however near the end of her fall she changed tactics into the majestic swan-dive, her face was frozen in happiness all the way down. The splash formed large waves that degraded eventually just crashing into my toes, her head sprouted from the waves like a fully grown carrot. The adrenaline had taken over her arms and legs, they were flailing left and right when she scrambled over the wobbling rocks slipping on moss about twice in a row, the sash I invented constantly fell of her so after a while she let it float away. "Oh my god! What made you do that?" Her soaking finger pointed at me. Aurora was saying that I had encouraged her to do that, when I said it was fine she eventually believed me hat means she trusts me. Finally!
I sat snuggled up in the ferns making daisy chains while Aurora tried to catch the fireflies. The sun drowned in the horizon, it's rays of light glimmering in the darkness of the clouds faded and the pale moon peeked at me from the stars, pinks and oranges dyed everywhere in sight leave only the chunky leaves to spare. Five fireflies showed themselves the moment Aurora accidentally brushed her body on their home, their glowing butts reflected on the bud of her cherry red nose each time one got trapped in her grasp and expected it closely. Me however, the daisy chain wasn't working out so well. I would get about three in a row but when I attached a fourth one at the other end crumbled off, I was also having a problem with pulling them away from the ground too high up so there was no space for the slit. We were fixed as this for a while until I had some luck. I treated over to Aurora and once again put on a sash on her, but this time it was a daisy chain sash. "This one might be easier to break but, it's better then nothing!" I explained. She smiled exactly the same why when I named her, a thoughtful, non-teeth, unthreatening smile. When the moon had fully taken over the night Aurora showed me the way she got down here so we could get to her caravan, we one after the other (Aurora then me) scaled the 30 degree angle rock in silence too busy to talk making sure no one slipped and cracked their head. We were nearly up back where we both jumped when on the last step Auroras body plummeted to the dirt in front of her. "Are you okay?!" I asked, with my help she got up, brushed herself off and limped the way. She had tripped on a invisible stone quite violently yet she didn't have a graze on her. Well, other then a slightly large cut on her ankle, she was determine to prove to me that the cut didn't bother her. A feeling came to my gut that should give her back the plaster but I think she wanted me to treat her strong. So I did.
