Mindy was know where to be seen out in the garden as I clambered back through the hedge hole. When I walked into the kitchen theA house felt hollow, I couldn't hear or sense anything. It was like I'd gone deaf. and it was so peaceful. I felt a bit peckish so I grabbed a glowing green apple but another one rolled out with it going down the train track that was a crack in the counter from when mum was in a massive fit smashed a plate a bit too vigorously. The apple was about to drop onto the floor when it crashed into a piece of folded lined paper. It had the name Nuria on it. It wasn't addressed to me but that never stopped anyone. 'Dear Nuria, no one is in because we have all gone looking for Stella, don't be alarmed she's probably fine. See you soon.' I felt bad because everyone's gone looking for me but I figured they will be more happy to know I'm alive then angry I ran off. It hit me that I was alone in the house. Slipping my hands in my pocket trying to look casual again I looked at the Disney pen. Then suddenly I had an idea, I could bring the girl here.

It felt like I'd gone back in time, nothing had changed. All the branches pointing the same way, flowers angled the same, the birds even started and stopped at the same time when I walked passed the same trees and same vines. The girl was this time leaned against bumper in the middle of both dead head lights, she herd the snap of a twig and instantly knew I was here. She didn't move a muscle, it could of been because she didn't care I was there like I was just another animal roaming in my habitat or the complete opposite, she was watching my every move waiting for me to flinch my eyes looking somewhere else so she could pounce on me for her offspring. I didn't want to get closer in case she ran off again therefore an mind piercing moment of silence followed when I remembered what made her run off, she didn't like the pen. It was still resting in my cardigan pocket so I delicately bent my arm to get it out but the moment she saw the tip of Minnie's round ears her eyebrows raised shortening her forehead by a finger, the twig she was drawing with into the damp crumbling soil snapped she got so tense about the Disney pen. Now to show she could trust me I confidently tossed it aside whacking it into a tree causing it to break it in half just like the drawing twig. She was surprised of what just happened but I knew she felt better because she loosened the grip of the twig parts making them roll to her feet. She was a stray dog, and I was someone whom dogs could trust, I lured her over with the same Apple that gave me this idea in the kitchen. I got stuck figuring out how to get her to my house without her getting worried, I pointed at her and slowly said "you" then laid out my hand and walked along the palm with my fingers and slowly said "follow" her face looked like a puppy trying to understand their first trick, finally I pointed at me then slowly said "me". Telling whether she got it or not, was unknown, but I used the ripe apple for her to keep walking. Trying to not walk into smacking mossy branches or tripping over rock while making sure the girl was close enough to 'think' she could still get the apple but not too far away that a flying bird could distract her was harder then I thought, we were walking forever and not talking (well, she couldn't) and when the trees became more scarce, and one long row of compounded leaves with a small hole crossed our path her face changed, she remembered this place I could see it in her small smirk. Every piece of outside furniture she passed was something to touch, smell, clamber all over. When she finally got to the outside kitchen door I took off the latch, then gently pushed the glowing Apple across inside eventually banging into the built-in bin. She monkey walked herself over and munched on the snack, I now have a woodland girl in my house eating the fruit. This is not how I thought my day would be like.
