Daryl POV:

 I can't leave her I just got her and Maddy back and I can't believe I have to leave her to suffer from this. I sat in the dirt crying for what happened to her. I should be the one with that bite and not her. I looked up to see her walking over to me and said: "I'm sorry for it needing to be like this but I'm trying to protect you and Madison(her real name) but it's for the best."

 I shook my head and stood and said "how do you know what's good for me before you got here me and Merle thought you and Madison were dead, and now here you are but a damn Walker took that away and I can't lose you and what would Madison think when I have to tell her we have to leave her mom and my wife and the love of my life you don't know shit !!" I yelled at her.

She coward backed up and said, "I know but I couldn't live with myself and know I put you too in danger I'm sorry I'm doing this I'm sorry." Right then Shane and Rick walked up and said: "what's going on over here?" I shook my head and said, "she wants us to leave her when we start to leave but I'm not going to do it." Jessica shook her head and said, "it's not your choice its mine ok." I just said, "whatever do what you want stupid bitch."

Jessica pov: I watched Daryl walk away and thought why can't he see I'm trying to protect him, Madison, and the group, but I just walked over to a near tree and sat down and sang the climb while I was crying.

I can almost see it.

I stopped singing and just sat there in my mind when I saw Madison come over to me but said: "Madison stay a few feet away sweety I don't want you to get hurt because of mommy." She just shook her head and said: "mommy how come we just got daddy back but we are losing you at the same time?"

 I frowned and said, "baby a walker bit me and I'm going to be like them unless someone shoots me in the head so I won't and also you and daddy will never lose me I'll always be watching over you but I think it's my time." 

Madison started crying and said "I love you mommy and please don't leave me" and hugged me I cried with her and said "baby girl can you go get miss Carol please?" she nodded, five minutes later I saw Carol come over to me and said "if I don't make it will you watch over Daryl and Madison." Carol looked at me and said, "I will we just need to hope you don't die because they need you."

I smiled and said "thank you" I sighed and put my hand on my forehead but I didn't have a fever. I smiled and got up slowly and walked few feet away from Rick and asked "umm rick what does it mean when you get bit and you have no fever?" he smiled and and said "you then might have a chance but you never know" I smiled and said "thanks, Rick."
