Chapter One (Layla Pov)

When I got up about 8pm since I worked late last night at Dark Rose, the club I work at. I groaned and stretched I sighed as I went into my bathroom doing my morning routine, I finally got in the shower and got changed into my pencil skirt that I got from Hot Topic my sister gave me a discount I put my Dance, Mosh, Scream, Rock shirt on I blow dried my hair and curled it I put a little perfume on with my mint lip balm and my aqua perfume. When I went back into my room my twin Axelia was just standing there waiting for me, “Do you need a ride? I just got off work,” “Nah, I can drive I’ll be seeing you later at the club won’t I?” she shrugged, “I don’t know, but remember your ass needs to take tomorrow off!” I nodded, “how can I not remember that the Motionless In White concert because my boss already gave me tomorrow off since I have been doing double shifts.” She nodded as I hugged her, “I’ll see you there may be.” I said as she nodded.

I put my heels on, I went back into the bathroom putting my foundation and eye shadow I left the room grabbing my purse and my I.D….”AXE HAVE YOU SEEN MY I.D.?” she giggled as she came in and got it off my nightstand, “I still don’t know how the hell it ends up there I swear I put it in my purse.” She laughed, “when you work the double shifts you don’t take it off till your in your room and almost passed out.” I nodded, “That makes sense, I better get going before I’m late.” I said as she nodded as I kissed her head. “Love you Axe.” She smiled, as she kissed my cheek, “I love you too Lala.” I giggled as she smiled handing me the keys, “Bye.” I said as I walked out of the house. I got into my car and left for the club; When I got there people were lined up, “Hey Tazzer!” I said as he let me in, “Is your sister coming tonight?” “maybe, if she isn’t tired.” He chuckled, “Tell her that some band is coming tonight.” I raised my eyebrow, “The only band that is going to be here is…” I screamed “YES I LOVE YOU TAZZER~” he laughed at me as I ran into the club, “Layla your working the V.I.P. room tonight.”

I nodded, as I put my purse in his office as I put my I.D. on as  I walked into the V.I.P. room getting it ready, I had Undead Ahead Blasting as I got it ready, I ran out to get a bucket of ice, I made sure the bar was stocked and ready, I was singing along as I saw everyone from Motionless In White come in, I bite my lip as I saw Chris. I smiled at everyone, “Hi, I’m Layla I’ll be your wonderful bartender in here.” I giggled a little as they smiled at me, they ordered drinks as they brought some girls in here I envied the girl who danced with Chris, I wish I could be here but I’m here working. I made more drinks as I saw my sister, “Hey sis what’s up?” “Tazzer said you are in here.” I nodded as I pointed to Motionless In White. I held my hand over her mouth as she looked at me, “Don’t fan girl here, they are just like normal guys but only rock stars.” She licked my hand as I squealed as she laughed at me, “You know we act more childish than ever when we are here.” She laughed, “I know but I came early cause mom and dad are home.”

I groaned, “out of all the days I said as, Ricky wanted me to give him a shot of Vodka. So I did, before I knew it my sister was dancing with them but not drinking for now; I smiled at her having fun. “Why don’t you go out and dance?” I heard a voice say to me as I looked up to see Chris, “because I’m working.” I giggled as he nodded, “so that your sister?” he pointed to Axe, I nodded, “my twin, we are going to your concert tomorrow actually.” He chuckled, “I heard you blasting Undead Ahead till someone changed it.” I blushed, “yeah my boss hates it when I listen to my music right before opening.”  He chuckled a bit as I gave him some whiskey and he left to go dance again. The night went on and my sister drunk, it was closing an di cleaned up in here before I had Tazzer put my sister in my car, I gave him a bottle of water, he would make sure she drank it. I said goodbye to Chris before I left.

When I got in my car my sister was still drunk, I sighed as I waved to Tazzer and drove home, I got in the door as I saw my dad just sitting in the chair in the living room waiting for us, I put my sister to bed before I went down stairs, “What are you and mom doing home?” I asked as he glared at me, he walked over to me, “You ungreatful bitch!” he yelled as he ripped one of my lip piercings out as I screamed loudly, putting my hand over my lip, I looked at my hand as I saw tons of blood on it, I looked at my dad as he threw the lip ring across the room as he looked at me again as he hit me one last time and left. I saw my sister come out of the shadows as she helped me up, “we have to get stitches for that.” I nodded as we  left quietly as my sister drove to the hospital, “Layla here again I see.” I nodded, “What happen this time another fight?” I nodded again as my sister said, “Only this time they ripped her lip ring out.” Doctor Sandy sighed as she helped me to the room, “This is going to hurt too much, I’m going to put you out.” Dr. Sandy said as I nodded.

My sister held my hand as I finally passed out, When I woke again I was in bed hoping this is all a dream when the pain hit my I cried out in pain. My door opened as I saw Axe standing there, “they left this morning.” She whispered as I nodded, “What am I going to do about tonight Axe? The concert is tonight and I don’t want anyone asking questions.” She shook her head, “Most pit sis mosh pit.” I nodded as I leaned against my bed as she copied me I held her hand and leaned my head against her shoulder, “I miss him Axe,” I said as I started crying, she held me as I kept crying, “I miss our best friend.” I sobbed as she rocked me in her arms. “Why did it have to happen to Tyler? It shouldn’t have been him.” I continued crying till I fell asleep. When I woke once again my sister and I were cuddled up to one another like we used to do when we were little, “what time is it?” I mumbled as I looked at the time 4pm, “Shit Axelia get up!” I yelled as she jumped up.

“what is something wrong? Did something happen?” I smiled, “No we need to get ready it’s 4.” She nodded as she left the room, I sighed, I changed into my Attila shorts and one on my Motionless In White Shirts I made into an tank top. I got on my Converse, and went into my bathroom making sure my hair covers half my face/lip. I put my beanie on to make sure it stays in place. “Sis you ready?” I heard a yell as I sighed, I walked out and into the kitchen to grab a water, “yeah as I will ever be.” I muttered as I got into the car as I sighed, ‘this is going to be a long freaking day…’ I thought as my sister drove us to the Venue… when we got there I sighed as my sister put my pass on me as we went to get our spots as I looked at the guys doing sound check as I looked at Chris he looked at me a little confused as I looked down and my sister nudged me, I looked at her as she made a face as she got Advil out of her pocket I took it as I drank some water. “Today is going to be freaking long.” I whispered as she slapped my arm, I flinched when she did, “Where did dad hit you?” she whispered as I lifted my shirt a little as she gasped, “Damn Lala, are some of those from last time?”

I nodded, “When we get home you sleep.” I rolled my eyes and nodded,
