Chapter 19 (Layla Pov)

~Layla~

I started shaking really bad as she walked over to us, Chris held me as I looked at my mom. She glared at me as she said, “You little bitch! This is were you have been?” “How did you f-f-find me?” I said as I stuttered. “Your father and I put GPS’s located in your phone.” I galped as I felt Chris squeeze me. “So where is your sister? Is she being like you, you whore.” She said as I galped, “Mom, w-we c-can w-w-work t-this out.” I said as she snorted, “Get into the Car Layla Kaylee Charleston.” I took a deep breath in, “No.” is all I said I can’t believe I just said that as she stepped closer I saw my sister and Josh. “Thank god.” I mumbled as my mom turned around, “You and your slut sister are coming home with us.” Mom told her as Axe looked at me, “Did she call you a slut?” I nodded, “She called you a whore earlier.” I mumbled as I looked at Chris as he took a deep breath in.

Our mom scowled at us, “your father is waiting in the car.” Our mom said I froze as I heard Chris say, “I think you need to leave.” She laughed as my sister and I froze as we saw our father come out of the car. “Chris..” I mumbled as he put me behind him. “You’re the men I heard my sluts of daughters are sleeping with?” Chris growled, “Your daughters aren’t sluts, they have been perfect.” My dad snorted. “Get off the property before we press Charges.” Ricky said as they raised their eyebrow, “You can’t do that.” My father said as Ricky looked at him grabbing his phone. “try me.” He said as my dad punched him. I screamed as my dad looked at me and glared, “I’ll be back for you Layla you too Axelia.” I ran over to Ricky. “oh god Ricky I’m so sorry.” He mumbled something I couldn’t hear than looked at me, “do you still have those pictures from the hospital?” “No, I don’t.” I mumbled, “We’ll stop by the hospital.” I nodded As Chris helped him up as I got up.

Axelia and I hugged one another, “We have to get new phones.” I mumbled as she looked at me, “I already did a while ago.” I looked at my feet. “So this is all my fault.” I mumbled as I started to cry as Chris came over and hugged me, Chris kissed my head, “Let’s go I’ll put you on my plan alright?” I nodded as Chris wiped the tears from my cheeks. “Hey Layla?” I heard as I looked over at Axelia. “We got kicked out of Wal*Mart today.” I laughed, “Did you do what we did?” “No…No it wasn’t me this time it was Brandon, Ryan, Ricky and Devin had a pillow fight.” I laughed, “It can’t be as bad as us.” I mumbled as she giggled, Ricky looked at us, “What did you two do?” I blushed, “I started a food fight in the Wal*Mart I’m surprised they didn’t recognize you.” I said as she laughed, “Me too but I’m sure if you walk in they will ask you to leave.” I laughed, “I’ll try it out.” I smiled as they all nodded as we left for the hospital.

I walked in as the nurse tapped Dr. Sandy’s shoulder as she looked at me, “Oh, Hello Layla are you here for stitches?” I shook my head, “I know you guys document everything and I need all the pictures, we might be bringing my parents into court.” She nodded, “Alright just stay here.” I nodded as Chris and Axelia came in. “Is everything alright?” They asked as I nodded, “I’m just waiting for her to get the pictures.” I told them as they nodded. Axe went back out and dragged Ricky inside as Dr. Sandy came in and looked at me than my sister than the guys, “What happen?” “Dad punched him in the face.” I said as she sighed, “Put ice on it for the swelling to go down.” She said as we all nodded. She handed me the pictures, “thanks, for everything.” I said as I hugged her, she laughed, “If you ever need a place to stay the hospital keeps an open room.” I rolled my eyes, than laughed, “Thanks Dr. Sandy.” I mumbled as I hugged her again.

We went to the car, “Court house tomorrow okay? Ricky and I will go to the police station stay at the house.” Chris mumbled as I nodded, “Alright,” I said as I got in the car with Axelia and Josh. I put my headphones in putting the pictures on the floor as I laid on the back seat curled up, I put on ‘Through Sin + Self Destruction’ by Asking Alexandria and blasted it so I didn’t have to hear my sister and Josh say loving things to one another. I meet them once;

~Flashback/Dream~

My sister was at work and she didn’t know I was even going, I had no friend except people that do drugs so I went alone.. I smiled as I gave my ticket to the person as I went in I smiled as I saw the Asking Alexandria stage. I went to get a bottle of water I saw a girl smoking a joint; I giggled “HI.” I giggled as she looked at me, “HI!” she said a little hyperally. “So you came to see the show?” She giggled, “I sell their merch!” “Sweet!!” I giggled as she handed her joint to me, “Thanks!” I said taking a hit before handing it back. “No problem,” she giggled, “Are you skipping school?” “Do it all time.” I said as I released the smoke. “The guys would love you.” I laughed, “Well I better get going, the show is going to start.” She nodded, “Finish it!” I laughed as I nodded, I took the last couple hits before I went to the show.

After the show I walked to the merch table a couple minutes before the show was over so I could hang with their merch girl. “hey!” I called as she looked at me smiling, “Hey girly.” I laughed, “My name is Layla.” I said as she smiled, “Taylor.” She said as we sat and talked a bit before fans started coming over, “I’m sorry to ask this but could you help me a bit? The guy I work with isn’t here.” I nodded as I helped out. “I’m sorry you lost your chance to meet them.” She said as I shrugged, “It’s okay, I’m sure I’ll see them again when they roll around here.” She smiled hugely at me. “Come on!” she pulled me from the way I started walking, “Come on!” she whined as I laughed as I caught up with her speed as she knocked on the door. I saw Ben Answered, “you need help?” he asked Taylor as she looked at me, “No, I took his fan away from meeting you earlier so she can help me sell merch…and she did a little more than that she got a few numbers.” I rolled my eyes as I shoved her a bit. “Come on.” Ben said as Taylor dragged me, “Shit Taylor calm your small tits!” I yelled as she bursted out laughing.

“Guys this is Layla.” I smiled a little and waved. They introduced themselves, “Where’s Danny?” I asked as they pointed back into the room. I nodded and went into the room, I saw Danny as I smirked, “Care to share?” I mumbled as he looked up at me as he smirked.

I shot up as I saw I was inside, “Shit.” I mumbled as I saw Axelia and Josh just staring at me. “What?” “Who’s Danny?” she tapped her finger, “A friend from a long time ago.” I said as I fell back onto the bed, “But?” “Drop it Axelia. It’s the past, it’s going to stay there.” I said as I sighed and looked at her. She looked hurt that I snapped at her, “Look Axelia I’m sorry just had a dream about the past, you know how I feel when I dream about the past.” She nodded, “Are you talking like Danny Worsnop or like that really weird Danny kid at our school?” I looked down, “You remember that day I was ‘sick’” I said as she nodded, “Well I wasn’t.” I murmured as she looked at me intently. “What do you mean.” She demanded, “I went to the Asking Alexandria concert that mom and dad told me not to go to.” Her eyes went wide.

“Your kidding?” I shook my head, “I meet Taylor their merch girl, and the band I did some drugs with Danny.” I whispered as she looked at me, “Your kidding me right?” I shook my head, “Is that why you came to the house high? Not cause of weed…” I shook my head, “I’m sorry okay, you knew I was like that in high school always ditching, doing drugs, drinking with people.” She nodded as she sighed, “did tyler know?” I froze… “Maybe…” she shook her head at me, “It’s fine if he did I’m not mad just upset you never told me ya know.” I nodded, “maybe next time we both can go?” I suggested as she nodded. “maybe.” She said before leaving that room, “Does Chris know?” I nodded, “He asked what I was like in high school so I told him.” He stood there shocked as Axe came back in whispered something and left.
