"Turn the music down, I'm going to throw up," Andrew whined five minutes into the car ride.

The car blasted with a Drake song, which I was trying hard not to jam out to.

"There is literally no correlation between those two-hey don't you ever touch my baby again," Chris playfully yelled as he smacked Andrews hand away from the volume on the cars stereo.

"Chris I swear I'm going to-"

Andrew went quiet as he threw up everything he had that night, which seemed to be just jello. The smell immediately engulfed the car and surprisingly enough, Chris didn't say anything. Instead he sped up and took  a right, a wrong turn if we were going to go to the bakery.

I decided against saying anything, I sensed too much tension already and didn't want to be a bother. They were doing me a favor after all.

We stayed silent for a long time after that, which seemed to be killing Chris because he finally decided to break it.

"Don't assume anything." he finally said.

I didn't say anything because quite frankly I had no idea who he was talking to.

"The conversation you overheard, don't assume anything." he said again, this time eyeing me from his rearview mirror.

"I didn't hear anything," I lied.

"I know you did and I just want you to know that I'm sorry about what happened to your sister. We all really miss her"

This time I didn't tune it out because I was too shocked that 1) Chris had a heart and 2) that he actually knew her well enough to miss her.

Thankfully we made it to the bakery before I had to say anything else.

"Thanks for the ride," I murmured before racing out the door.

At home I decided to look more into this Chris guy- more like his relationship with Megan. I was able to quickly find him on Instagram due to the overwhelming amount of mutual friends we have, but surprisingly found that he wasn't friends with Megan. That was enough to convince me that whatever I heard Chris telling that girl was definitely not about Megan.
