Chapter 5

We arrived at the party and I grabbed a drink. I didn't know exactly what was in it, but it tasted amazing. I walked around or a little bit chatting with some band members that I knew. Oli came over next to me and wanted to inteoduce me to some of the workers.

"Mel, meet some of the guys that work and build Warped every single day!"

"Hello." I smiled at them and shook their hand.

"If you ever need anything, they'll be around all day and can help you." Oli added.

"Well, that's great! I was worried about getting lost." I laughed. "Excuse me, I'm gonna go get another drink." I went back to the bar area and got the same exact drink I had before. Then I headed back to the area where the guys were.

"Sorry, this is just a really great drink." I giggled.

"Oh yeah," Kenny, one of the guys, said. "That's one of my favorites."

" I can understand why." I turned to flirting slightly.

Oliver cleared his throat. "Melanie, why don't we go walk around more and meet some people."

"Oh, um, sure Oliver." I waved to the guys and walked off with Oliver.

We went back to the bar about four or five more times to get the same drink and Oli tried something different every time.

"Let's head out on the dance floor!" I giggled my words starting to slur.

We danced and took some shots. I was drunk and I figured it'd be best to just stop drinking, but I was having so much fun.

"Mel! I found you! Come one let's go back to the bus!" I barely heard Oli but I downed one last shot, grabbed his hand and headed off to the bus.

And that's when I blacked out...
