PLEASE READ:To any confusion to why this is a fanfiction I have put it in that category because I have been reading lots of books about summer recently and I want to base my story around all these summer stories in one. Yes this story is my own plot and they are all my own characters and no-one else's so it's copyright, if you have a better category you think it belongs in please leave a comment and explain why it should be in that category, thank so much!

CHAPTER THREE
I stumbled through the front door, both of them in fact and rather lazily as well, the heat of the summer sun on the back of my head not really helping. I only had three things on my mind. The first was aspirin, the second was trying to recall last night and the third was sleep. The house was dormant at the moment and I silently prayed it would stay that way so I could sleep off this headache.
Straight away without hesitating I kicked off the heels. Never again will I go to a party in heels as high as that; my feet are blistered and bruised. I dragged my battered feet all the way to the kitchen and searched through the medical cupboard until I came across one of the two things I needed right now. I poured myself some water and took the glass and aspirin upstairs to bed with me.
After climbing the stairs, which in my case felt like climbing Mount Everest, I eventually arrived at my bedroom door silently thanking my parents that unlike Ashley I wasn’t stupid enough to ask for my bedroom to be on the third floor. I didn’t even get chance to open the door when I was attacked and pulled into a huge hug.
"I have been worried sick!” Ashley snapped angrily.
“Sorry.” I mumbled into her shoulder.
She pulled away from the hug and looked me up and down. I did the same to her and it was obvious that the alcohol she consumed last night hadn’t effected her slightest. “Where the hell have you been?”
I woke up in a hotel next to some man who I didn’t recall sleeping with then had to pay half of the hotel bill out of an act of kindness while looking like a clown and getting the most disgusted looks from people, how about you? That is what I wanted to say, instead I kept it simple. “Nowhere.”
“Nowhere?” Ashley’s voice went up more than a few octaves so it sounded like she was screeching.
“That’s what I said wasn’t it.”
Ashley shook her head. “I have been up all morning worried out of my mind about you.”
“Oh really?” I questioned her. “Well last night it seemed you didn’t give a toss about worrying about me and my feelings!” I snapped at her.
The sign of disappointment showed on her face. “What exactly did I do Shawna?”
“Well the last I remembered you told every single person at that party I was still a virgin and I was your adopted sister and then you passed out right afterwards.”
I decided to leave out the part where she told me that she was engaged, besides drunken sayings are sober thoughts, she obviously wanted to tell me but unfortunately our parents didn’t want me to know, and Ashley being my parents favourite clearly didn’t want to let them down even if it meant lying to keep up her oh-so-good reputation.
