Karissa's Pov

I walked to school with Pony. Ugh, I'm not a huge fan of school. But it might be okay of Pony's there. I miss LA and the business that surrounded it. I can't believe the gang accepted us. Only our family did. Why did Jack have to bring that letter. After the last heist, we said we were done with that kind of that kind of thing.

Hey Pony. What do we have first hour?- I asked him. Please don't be math. Please don't be math. Please don't be ma-

Math. Why?- he said. I just groaned in response.

I hate math with a passion. I never got the hang of it.- I told him. The school grew into view and we walked in. My locker just happened to be next to Pony's. We walked to math.

Oh, you must be my new student. I'm Mr. Jones. Welcome- the math teacher told me. He seems nice. The bell rang. Mr. Jones started the lesson when five minutes after the bell someone walked in.

Oh shit. It's Annie. She walked in like she owned the place.

Ms. Shaw what have I told you about showing up late- Mr. Jones asked her. She just smirked when she saw me. Oh great. She knows I'm horrible at math. She'll turn this class into my own personal hell.

That there's a schedule for a reason and blah blah blah- she sassed.

Detention Ms. Shaw- Mr. Jones told her. Ha, have fun with that bitch. He went back to the lesson. I hate algebraic expresssions. Pony slid a sheet over to me.

Having trouble?- pony

Yea- Karissa

I could help you at home if you wanted-pony.I smiled.

That would be amazing. Thank you- Karissa. I saw him grin. Well, now I can't wait to get to the house.

Th rest of the school day passed by without anymore disruptions. We are reading "Romeo and Juliet" for English. A classic love story. Once you got passed the Shakespearean language. After school we walked to the house. I was feeling kinda bored so I decided to try something.

Race you- I yelled to him as I raced past him. He scoffed before taking off after me. We ran all the way. He easily overtook me. We walked in breathing heavily and smiling.

Maybe school won't be so bad.
