Jack's Pov
We sat around the table and ate my sister's food. At least someone in this family inheirited my mom's cooking skills. We got to learn more about the guys. Darry, Sodapop, and Ponyboy are brothers and have been taking care of each other since their parents died. Steve, Two-bit, Johnny, and Dally are their friends and basically live there.
It's nice to know that they accepted the girls. But I feel like their should be some one else. They left home with four girls.... Oh. Annie.
Um, what exactly happened to Annie?- I asked slowly, not wanting to run from Loki again.
The girls glared. Oh great. Now I've done it.
The little bitch got on our final nerves so she left- Loki told us.
And I'll be right back-Lyv got up. She walked towards the kitchen.
Hey, Soda, can I get some help here- She called. Oh great. That boy better not hurt her. A minute later yhey came back with a three tower cake. Everyone's jaws dropped.
How did you have time to make that?- Dally asked in awe.
I did it while the barbecue was cooking. Frosted it before dinner and let it cool while we were eating.- she answered him as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. She cut it up and gave Johnny a huge slice of it first.
Why me?- he asked.
Because if I don't, those pigs will eat it up before you could get a decent piece- she replied. We ate our cake in silence, just enjoying the taste of it. I felt bad for what I was about to do. The letter seemed to burn in my pocket. I gulped the rest of my cake before grabbing the letter.
Um, girls. I have something here that I was told to give to you- I told them. Jesse gave me a sympathetic look. He knew how they would react. Karissa grabbed the letter from me. I saw her read it, her eyes burning with each word she read. She threw the letter down and left. Not saying a word. Loki grabbed it next. She let out a string of curses before leaving like Karissa had. Lyv hesitantly grabbed it. She read it and went of in a rant in Portuguese. She turned towards me and started ranting at me. How could I be so stupid and not wait til later to do this?
I honestly have no idea.
