"Jess-" Ashton starts, tears ready to fall from his eyes any second
"It's not like we're even together" I huff rolling my eyes
"I thought you liked me"
"I do" I say reaching for Ashton's hands
"DONT"
"I swear it was nothing, I love Calum-"
"SEE YOU LOVE HIM" Ashton screams, tears falling down his face
"You didn't let me finish-"
"I don't want to hear it Jess" he says leaving the room

"Ash?"
"Go away Jess"
"I'm coming in" I say opening the door
"Go away" Ashton says crossing his arms
"No, now let me explain" I demand
"Fine" Ashton moans
"I do love Calum-"

"Let me finish" I say after Ashton rudely interrupted me yet again
"I love Calum, but I also love you in a different way" I say placing my hand gently on Ashton's shoulder
"I get it Jess, you want to date him" Ashton says tears threatening to fall again.
"No! Ashton, do not cry. I love Calum as a friend, a close friend, nothing more. I love you, well a relationship kind of love" I say
"You still kissed him" Ashton frowns
"I know and I'm sorry, but I swear it was nothing" I lie
"It looked like something-"
"Can I come in?" Calum softly speaks from the other side of the door
"No" Ashton quickly says
"Come here Calum" I say opening the door

"Ashton, I'm so sorry about this" Calum says
"No worries" Ashton says faking a smile
"Please don't be mad at Jess"
"Why shouldn't I be?"
"Be mad at me Ashton, I'm the one who kissed her" Calum says
"Cal-" Ashton starts
"Before you get mad at her let me tell you, she pushed me away straight away"
"CALUM GET OUT OF HERE RIGHT NOW" Ashton shouts scaring me slightly
"I'm sorry mate" Calum says leaving

"I'm so sorry Jess" Ashton says pulling me into a hug
Can I really let Calum take the blame like this? I know it was both of us.
"Ashton, Calum lied" I say
"What?"
"We were flirting"
"Flirting not kissing"
"I kissed him" I say, I immediately regretted it as I seem the pain in Ashton's eyes
"W-why would you do that to me Jess" Ashton cries
"Honestly, I don't know I missed you and thought maybe it would distract me"
"Did it work Jessica, tell me, did it work?"
"No, it just made me feel terrible"
"Leave, I need some time alone right now" Ashton says
"I'm so sorry Ashton, I love you"

I run to my room and just lie there crying, nothing eyes, no music. Just crying. I had never felt so alone in my life, no one could sort out this mess. This was my fault, I should have never kissed Calum in the first place. We were both hurt and needed distraction, but that distraction turned into a disaster, the worst thing to happen to me. Why couldn't have I just been happy with Ashton. I mean. He's Ashton

"Jess?" Michael whispers opening my door
"Cuddle?" He asks
"Please" I cry
"Hey, I hope you're okay, this isn't the end of the world" he whispers holding me in his arms.
"But I think I made the biggest mistake possible" I cry into Michaels shirt
"We all make mistakes Jess, I cheated on Calum with Luke" he says
"But you always loved Luke" I state
"True, and I know you love Ashton and he loves you" Michael says
"He hates me" I cry
"Me and you, some best friend time, no Luke, no Ashton because who needs boyfriends" Michael says nudging me
"Wait, boyfriends, so are you and Luke?" I ask wiggling my eyebrows
"Yeah. I told Calum before, he seems to accept it" Michael smiles proudly
"Is Calum coming to our 'best friend time'?" I ask
"Do you want him to?"
"No, just me, you and whatever you want our best friend time to be, I need a break from all this boy drama" I laugh
"That's the spirit, cmon lets go" Michael says dragging me out
