Chapter 6: Forever

Cali's POV

I woke up in the middle of the night, from my mom yelling at someone through the phone.

I stood outside of her bedroom door and listened. She was yelling at my dad? I haven't seen him in forever.
"Mom." I said opening the door.
"Nows not a good time, honey." She had tears rolling down her cheeks.

What is happening? I couldn't take this. Normally I can handle a little fight. But this? Oh this was not little. I had to take some time, alone. Away from everyone. I packed a few pairs of clothes etc. I got dressed quickly and left. I don't know where I was going, when I would get there, or if I would even come back.

After walking a few miles and it was almost 1 am, I reached a hotel. I opened the lobby doors and went to the desk.
"Hi can I stay here overnight?" I asked.
"Sure! There will just be a fee on how many nights you stay."
"That's fine! Thank you." I said.
She handed me a room key and I went into the elevator.

I got to my room and settled in. I put my pajamas back on and tried to sleep.

Shawn's POV

I woke up this morning at like 9 am. I walked over to Cali's room but she wasn't there. I knocked on her moms door. The door opened.
"Have you seen Cali?" I asked.
"No, not since the middle of the night, she came over here." She said.
"Oh ok, thank you anyways." I said.
I searched the house, but no Cali.

I got on my phone and called her. No answer. After a few minutes I tried calling again.
"Hello?" She said softly.
"Cali, where are you?" I asked nervously.
"Nowhere." He said.
"Cali, where are you?" I repeated.
"Shawn just please, leave me alone." She said.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"N-nothing, I'm fine, gotta go, bye." She hung up.
This is not like her. Something is up.

Cali's POV

Ugh Shawn is onto me. I just want to be alone.
I got a message on my phone.
Shawn- I'm coming to find you.

Eh. He won't look for me at a hotel, would he?
A few minutes later I heard a knock on the door.
"Yes?" I say.
"You have a visitor." Someone said.
I opened the door to see who it was.
There was a worker lady, and Shawn.
The lady left and Shawn walked in.

"Shawn..." I said.
"Cali, why did you run off?" He asked.
"I needed space, I needed to be alone." I said.
"Cali, we all go through times like this, but will you at least let me stay here with you?" He asked.
I nodded and he smirked.
He walked closer and hugged me, I hugged back. He cupped my face and kissed me, although it was kind of more than just a little kiss...
He ran his hands down to my waist. I put mine on his neck.
We pulled away and smiled.
"Shawn do you promise you'll be here with me, by my side, forever?" I asked.
"Forever." He said.
"Can we go home now?" Shawn asked.
"Instead of being here alone, with me?" I said.
"I change my mind." He said.

Someone please give me ideas. I started the next chapter but it's really crappy. Someone please message me ideas!💙
