Chapter 10: Finish what we started?

Cali's POV

I heard someone say 'Where's Cali?'
I looked up at Taylor and Aaron. They quickly got up and went towards the door, waiting for someone to come in.

The door flung open to Shawn, who looked like he was crying.
"Cali," He said.
Taylor and Aaron blocked him from coming any closer.
"She clearly doesn't want to talk." Taylor said.
"Shawn, sorry, I can't deal with this, we're done now." I run out past everyone, down the stairs and out to the backyard.

I saw Shawn run out the front door. Everyone came outside with me.
The sun was setting so Nash lit a fire.

"Can we make s'mores?" I ask.
"Yeah, we should have a camp out, tents and all." Cameron said.

I wasn't too sure of the whole camp idea. I know they're all trying to make me feel better, but I already miss Shawn. I don't know if breaking up was the best idea. We both just overreacted.

The boys set up 3 tents. I was the only girl so I shared a tent with Taylor and Aaron. Jack G, Jack J, and Matt were in another tent. Hayes, Cam, & Nash in the other.

I woke up in my tent next to Taylor. Aaron wasn't in there, just Taylor and I. He was awake on his phone.
"Well hello," he said.
"Hey," I sat up.
"Cali" Taylor said
"Yeah?" I replied
"I-i. This May not be the right time but. I. I think I. I like you."
"Taylor I-" I couldn't speak.

We looked into each other's eyes in silence. Slowly he leaned in, as did I. He pressed his lips on mine and kissed me passionately.

Shawn's POV

I felt bad for freaking out on Cali. I went back over to Nash's house. Everyone was camping outback.

I walked into Cali's tent. I saw Cali and Taylor- making out.
ARE YOU FOR REAL?!

Cali's POV

Taylor was kind of on top of me. I had my hands in his hair, yeah um we were kind of making out.
I heard some noises so I pulled away.

"Cali? What's wrong?" Taylor said.
"I-I saw Shawn," I said.
I got up and ran after him, Taylor following.

"Shawn wait!" I called.
He just kept running, all the way back to my house, since he was still staying there.
He was too fast for me and I eventually fell.

"You okay?" Taylor asks picking me up.
"Y-yeah I'm fine." I say.
"I know your lying," he said.
Tears fell from my cheeks and Taylor comforted me.

"Um, so you want to go back and finish what we started?" He asked.
I punched his chest playfully and walked back to the tent.
