I'm so, so, so sorry! I didn't announce the winners until WAY after the due date for the contest! I would accept late entrees but...... Only two people entered. And they were on time. So I guess I should announce the winners now.
The first place winner is MadnessConsumes !!! Good job! If you can't find her story, it's because she had to message it to me because she was having technical difficulties. It was amazing writing and definitely earned first prize.
The second place prize is sparrowflight_ !!! Yay! Great writing on her part. I'll message her about the prize.
And unfortunately, we didn't have a third entree so......... There is no third place prize. :(
