This chapter may upset some people, so I am sorry in advance. A lot of drama coming up, hopefully it makes these next few a little more interesting for you!

-The day of the funeral-
It was a cold and windy, mid November morning. Jack had a rubbish night sleep last night, he had everything on his mind, his speech, how he held himself, and he couldn't bare to hear all the 'I'm so sorry for your loss'. He knew Alex would be there for him, he was thankful for that, but no matter how hard people tried to please him, nothing would bring his mother back.
His dad would be there, nobody knew it but his dad was a total ass to Jack as a kid, he loved May and Joe, but he disliked Jack for his 'queerness'. He was always making remarks about it, and also at one point beat up Joyce when Jack was only a baby, he didn't remember it, but May and Joe did. Joyce stayed with Jack's dad because she liked feeling protected, though Jack couldn't get his head around how she could feel protected by an asshole like that. Jack knew his dad would be there, but Joe and May were always looking after Jack, they wouldn't let their dad lay a finger on them. His dad had just got back from his time away for work last night, which meant he only found out about the funeral arrangements last night too. Jack had a panic attack thinking about it and threw himself out of bed.
He wanted to tell Alex about it, but he didn't want Alex to feel sorry for Jack's shitty past, it wasn't his fault.
Jack crept downstairs as quietly as he could, since it was only 5:30am. He went into the cupboards and grabbed two slices of toast before shoving them into the toaster and perching his bottom onto the work top and waiting for the toast to pop up.
It wasn't long until Alex stumbled down the stairs with his hair all over the place and his feet thudding on the cold tiled floor.
"Morning Jacky" Alex yawned.
"G'morning Lexy" Jack half smiled.
Alex grabbed Jack from the work surface and put him down to his level and pulled him into a hug before smoothing out his hair and giving him a kiss on the cheek.
Jack just sighed and pulled out his toast and giving the other slice to Alex.
They ate in complete silence before both agreeing they should probably get ready as the car to pick up the Barakat's and Gaskarth's would be there soon.
Half an hour later and Jack and Alex were sat in the lounge with Black tux's on, with buttons done up, White shirts, Black shoes, and Jack had a Black bow tie, and Alex had a white one.
Alex's mum was wearing a long black dress with a black hat with lace to hide her tears which would remind her of her other son, and black heels.
Alex was stressing out inside, the last time he went to a funeral was he brothers, and he hasn't dealt well with funerals or death since.
Soon enough the car came, and they all jumped into the car with a morbid feeling emerging. The deadly silence was piercing and All three Barakat children were trying their best to hold in the tears forming in their brown eyes.
Not long after they arrived, they all stepped out of the car with the wind blowing into their faces.
It was time for them all to say their final goodbyes before letting everyone else into the church.
Alex waited outside so that Joe, May and Jack all had their time alone.
It wasn't long before everyone started turning up and the church doors opened, everyone took their seats and Alex and his mum sat on the second row of seats from the front. Alex shut his eyes and took deep breathes, he was shaking now and he was sweating buckets. His muscles tightened and his hair got in the way of his vision.
Jack, May and Joe sat down on the first row of seats infront of us with their nan and grandad (Joyce's parents) whilst his aunts, uncles and cousins sat on the other side.
Rian and Zack went over to Alex and went into a 'bro hug' before taking a seat behind him.
Just as the door was being closed, a man stumbled in stomping around and slurring his words. He wasn't drunk, it's how he spoke.
"Aaaah, Jack queer-lord Baratwat" He spoke up, before making his way down the church isle.
"Back off of Jack dad" Joe spoke up, getting up and pushing him back.
"No, I have a right to be here and I blame your mothers death on gaylord over here" He poked Jack before two men quietly spoke to May, and as she nodded they took him away.
"YOU CAN'T TAKE ME AWAY, THIS IS THE FUNERAL OF MY WIFE, MY OWN WIFE!" He shouted, kicking his legs.
By this time everyone was looking and gasping.
Jack stood up with his hands in a ball.
"YOU BEAT HER UP DAD, WHEN I WAS A BABY, YOU CALL ME QUEER, YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO PAY ANY RESPECT, IF YOU HAVE ANY, TO THE MOST AMAZING WOMEN IN THE WORLD, ONE WHO WANTED TO EARN YOUR PROTECTION AND LOVE, NO WOMEN SHOULD EVER HAVE TO EARN IT, BUT SHOULD RECEIVE IT INSTANTLY" Joe pulled Jack down before he got too angry.
Jack started to cry, silently, before Joe put his arm around him and pulled him into a hug and Jack's dad was thrown outside, this was all getting a bit dramatic.
A man in a black robe stood at the front, the ceremony was about to begin.
He started saying words and some quotes from her friends and family about their thoughts on Joyce but Alex zoned out.
He had flashbacks to when his brother died and when he made his speech.
Tom was someone we should all look up to, he was a role model and an inspiration to me, and after I finish my speech, hopefully to many more people.
Tom was always there when I had bad days, he would hug me and make everything better, even though he wouldn't make my own pain go away, he would ease it out for me and made it more copeable to deal with.
He would wash away all my negative feelings and always enforce his positive ones into me, I always wanted to be like him, he seemed so happy but obviously this was not the case.
When I was with my brother, I was completely different, I never saw him as someone who shared the same DNA with me, who slept under the same roof, but as my best friend, someone who was attatched to my hip, we was inseparable.
Towards the end, he got more distant away from me, and as a result I stand here to today saying a final goodbye to my hero, my brother and my best friend.
Tonight, I will sing myself to sleep and see you in my dreams, and I'll be waiting to say, I miss you, I'm so sorry...
'NOOOOOOOOOOO' Alex screamed his head off and started crying, all these memories, all these flashbacks, the same lines playing back over and over, he couldn't cope, he didn't want to cope, he just couldn't.
Everyone turned to look at him and the pain in his eyes met Jack's and Rian and Zack knew exactly what was happening.
Alex whispered 'I'm so, so sorry Jacky' and ran out, he ran down that church isle faster then lightening, crying his eyes out.
Jack just stood there, letting his ice cold tears burn his own eyes and rolling down his cheek, one after the other.
