Everything Changes

Chapter One (Picture of Sophia)

"Sophia, Jacob, Abby! Wake up! Time for school!" Called Dad. I got up, walked to my closet and grabbed some white ripped skinny jeans with a black crop top, with my black Jordan's. I go to my bathroom and turn on the water in the shower. I get in, do my business and get out. I dry off and get dressed. I put on some light makeup and dry my hair. My hair is naturally wavy. I go downstairs to the kitchen and grab an apple. I go outside and walk to school, I don't have my license yet.

I walk into the school and meet up with my best friend Katelin Andrews. She has blonde hair with pink in the bottom. Her eyes are blue like the ocean. She just got her pink and green braces off. She is fucking goals!

"Oh my gosh! Sophie I've missed you so much!" Katelin says as she hugs me.

"You just saw me two days ago." I say as we part. We talk for about ten minutes. "We better get going before we are late."

We get to class and sit in the middle of the room. I know everyone in The room from elementary or middle school. Then a boy I hadn't seen before walks in just as the bell rings. He has brown hair that is swept over to the right. He has bright green eyes. His jeans are dark blue. His shirt is red like his Nike Airs.

Class went on but I couldn't stop looking at the new boy. Class is almost over when the teacher says "Get a partner, someone you don't know and talk to them." I went over to the new boy.

"You wanna be my partner?"

"Sure. My name is Anthony. Whats yours?" He says low.

"I'm Sophia, but you can call me Sophie, and you don't have to be so shy. So whats your favorite hobby?"

"Well I mean I'm the new kid, it's not exactly easy. My favorite hobby is either basketball or baseball. Whats yours?"

"I like basketball too. But my favorite is stunting."

"Stunting?"

"You know the stunts cheerleaders do?"

"Yeah..."

"It's that, but we don't actually cheer. It's a combination between dance and cheer stunts."

"Oh that's cool I might watch you one day."

"You can come to our competition this weekend if you want. It's at Kings Dominion."

"Sure sounds good." He says just as the bell rings.

I go to my next two classes and then lunch. The way our cafeteria is set up, the teachers sit up on a balcony looking thing that has stairs going up the side. There is a big area with tables in the middle. Below is where we, the students sit.

I walk in and see Anthony, I guess he sees me too because he waves. Katelin and I see each other and head towards Anthony.

"Katelin this is Anthony, Anthony this is Katelin. I was gonna see if Anthony could ride with us Friday night, to go to the competition Saturday." I say.

"Okay that's fine. Hey Anthony." Katelin says.

"Hi Katelin. Thanks for letting me ride with you guys."

"Your welcome." Kate says happily.

We talk for the rest of lunch and the bell rings. The day goes on and Katelin gives me a ride home from stunt practice. I walk inside and dinner is ready.

"Hey mom are y'all coming to my competition Saturday?"

"Oh hunny! I forgot and told Jacob I would go to his football game. I'm so sorry Sophie."

Jacob Wayne is my olde brother. He is the football star. He has brown hair that always seems to fall perfectly in place. His eyes are a mint green. He has the straightest teeth I have ever seen. He is the "it boy" of the school.

"Whatever mom." I say as I head to my room. I take a shower and get into bed.

"Anthony is kinda cute" I think to myself and I drift off to sleep.
