*Jessica POV*

I wake up in the living room. It's sometime in the early, early morning. The tv is still on, and Elvis is sound asleep next to me. I reach up and find that the towel is still wrapped around my hair. Great, this'll be really good for my already damaged hair. I pull myself off the couch and bring the towel into the bathroom, thankfully my hair was still damp. I brush it out and return to the living room. I kiss Elvis on the cheek, "Baby, come on and let's go to bed."

He opens his eyes slowly and looks at me. "What time is it?" He asks in a groggy voice.

"I don't know, but you need to come get in bed." I grab his hand and drag him off the couch. Very slowly, he follows me into the bedroom, takes his shirt off, and climbs under the covers. I slip back out to the living room and flick off the tv before climbing under the covers with him.

He wraps his arms around me and pulls me against him. I kiss him gently and close my eyes. "I love you Jessica."

I smile, "I love you too Elvis." I must be the luckiest girl in the entire world.

I wake up and find that Elvis isn't in bed. I get up and walk around the suite, he was nowhere to be found, and there was no note either. I exit the suite and walk down the hall to Joe's room. I knock on the door and a moment later Joe answers, "Hey Jessica, need something?"

"Yeah, do you know where Elvis is? I just got up a little while ago, and he isn't there. He didn't leave a note either."

He shakes his head, "No I haven't seen him. Want me to check with Colonel?"

I nod, "Yes please, thank you."

He smiles, "You can wait in there, I'll be right back. Oh, and happy birthday."

"How did you know it was my birthday?"

"Elvis told me."

I pause in his doorway and turn to look at him, "So you did see Elvis today?"

"N-no, he told me the other day that today was your birthday. Anyhow, wait here. I'll go check with Colonel." He shuts the door to his room, leaving me on the inside. I walk around the room: it was small, but nice. There was a couch and a couple arm chairs against the wall, with a television opposing it. In a room off to the side, there were two queen sized beds and a dresser. Between these two rooms, a small bathroom resided. The room was kept immaculately clean, and nothing appeared to be out of place.

I decide to turn on the tv and sit down on the couch. I realize suddenly, that I was still wearing the clothes Elvis had let me borrow, and became very self-conscious. Joe saw me dressed like this, on my birthday... What was I thinking? Just then, the door to the suite opens, and Elvis walks in. I rise from the couch and walk over to him, "Where were you this morning?"

He smiles down at me, "Happy birthday darlin'."

"Thank you, but that doesn't answer my question." I place my hands against his chest and look up at him, "I was hoping to have woken up to your smiling face this morning and have gotten a little birthday loving; if you catch my drift."

He smirks, "Don't worry honey, there will be plenty of that later this evenin'. And as for this mornin', I had to go meet with the Colonel, sorry." He kisses my cheek gently. "You should go get changed. We're meeting your parents for lunch in an hour."

I nod, turn to leave, then stop, "How did you know it was my birthday anyhow? I never told you."

"Well darlin', the other day when your daddy came to the door, he talked to me for a minute about your birthday, and the lunch that we're goin' to in a bit." He steps forward and kisses my forehead, "Now, go get ready."
