*Elvis POV*

Man I shouldn't be up this early. I crawl out of bed, leaving Jessica sleeping peacefully under the comforters. She looks so cute layin' there, I should make today special for her. Yesterday, we didn't do much. I think we spent the whole day on the couch: kissing and just holding each other close. But today, today is my last day with her before I go, and I have a feeling she's going to be rather teary eyed.

Silently, I exit the bedroom and head towards the kitchen. I figure starting the day off with a nice breakfast is a good way to set the bar for the day. Yesterday all we had was some toast and a little orange juice. But today I'm thinking the whole thing: Eggs, bacon, toast, pancakes, orange juice. I grab all the necessary items from the fridge and start cooking.

Once I've finished, I set two plates on the table, along with a candle. Then I pile food onto each plate and bring the dishes back to the kitchen. After I've lit the candle, I walk into the bedroom, finding Jessica still curled up under the covers. I smile at her, then bend down and kiss her gently on the mouth. She sighs and rolls towards me, keeping her lips pressed to mine. I wrap my arms around her blanket covered hips and pull her towards me, allowing myself to increase the pressure of the kiss. After a minute or so, I decide to slip my tongue into her mouth; man did that wake her up. Jessica's eyes flutter open and she sits up, "What are you doing?"

I smile at her and take a step back, "I'm romantically wakin' ya up."

Her hand wipes her lips, "More like defiling my mouth." She inhales deeply, taking in the smell of food, "What's that?"

I reach out for her hand, which she gives me happily, "I made ya breakfast. Come on darlin'." Gently, I pull her from the bed and lead her towards the table.

When she sees the table, her eyes light up, "You didn't just make breakfast. You made a romantic breakfast." She pulls herself towards me and kisses my chest through my shirt, "Thank you."

I lean and kiss her disheveled hair, "You're welcome honey. Now, let's eat."

After we finish eating, I carry the dishes to the kitchen and meet Jessica back on the couch. "Thank you for breakfast," she kisses my cheek, "it was very nice."

I smile, "You're welcome, and don't you think you're doin' them dishes cause ya ain't." I kiss her lips gently, "I will wash them later. I don't want ya doin' any work today."

"Why not?"

I swallow hard, not wanting to mention the thing I'm sure would upset her. "Cause I-I just want ya to relax today."

She nods, seeming to take this explanation. She sets her head against my chest and rubs with her hand. "What time are you leaving tomorrow?"

"I-I'm not exactly sure. Colonel said we'll be leaving early in the mornin'."

Jessica sighs heavily and wraps her arms tight around me, "You better wake me up and make love to me before you go."

I smile, "Is that what ya want me to do?"

She nods, "You've gotta leave me with something. Plus, I'm not one for sappy goodbyes."

"Let me call Colonel and see what time we leave in the mornin', so that way there's plenty of time for us." I sit up and reach for the phone, and dial Colonel's number.

"Hello?"

"Colonel, it's E."

"What did you need?"
