Colleen was standing at the front of the lecture hall patiently waiting for the others to come back. A few minutes later to Colleen's surprise they all return and soon the lecture hall is full.
The Professor stands up to introduce her. "Ladies and gentleman I give you as..promised Colleen!."
The Professor sits himself back down preparing mentally to watch the carnage that is about to unfold. Everyone claps rather reluctantly.
Colleen looks at everyone smiling. "Hello everybody!.. As you all know my name is Colleen... Forget the crap you just heard there by Professor whatever his name is."
She takes a breath for a second. "You all see that boy over there?." She points to a fair dark haired boy about 5 rows from the front.
"That boy is Lyle Chambers.. As some of you know he is 17 and I'm 15, We dated for nearly 6 months until we very recently split up."
Of course this was pretty much common knowledge but What the gossips didn't know was why. And Colleen here was going to tell them.
She empties her throat. "So I've heard a few of the rumours going around and so I want to use this opportunity to tell you guys the truth."
The audience are on the edge of their seats now whilst Lyle was staring at her intently. Frowning at her in a threatening way. He was praying in his head. "Don't do it.. Don't do it.." It was almost like he was a ticking time bomb. He was getting angry by the Minute.
She walks closer toward the audience. "What me and Lyle had in the beginning was great but then he started shoplifting and drinking beer illegally and that turned him violent."
Tears roll down her cheeks but she wipes them because she doesn't want to give him the satisfaction. "I went to the police..." Suddenly Lyle stands up and Interrupts her yelling at her, "THEY LET ME GO.. I don't even know why you're bring it up now!.."
She smiles "Because Lyle people need to know the truth and because a few nights ago..YOU RAPED ME."
The professor steps in for a moment. "This is all well and good but can you um.. Take your issues outside.."
Lyle and Colleen frown at each other like in a Wild West movie about to do battle and they turn to the professor for a moment yelling at him at the same time "SHUT UP."
He frowns looking around at everyone gossiping about him. "She's lying.. It was consensual sex and she knows it!.."
Colleen scoffs "Are you saying I want it?."
He nods smirking in reply. "Obviously.."
She shakes her head "Just when I thought you could sink no lower Lyle."
She grabs her things and runs out the lecture hall.
