Colleen sats in the police station still in tears. She has barely been able to stop crying since she was lead into the car.
It suddenly dawned her how much trouble she was in.
Biting her lip she brutally braced herself for whatever was coming next.
A man comes into the room. He had ginger hair and was wearing a suit whilst carrying a black briefcase.
Colleen frowns. "Who are you?."
He smiles at Colleen. "I'm the police stations duty solicitor and my name is Liam Zaine."
She shook hands with the stranger. "But.. I didn't call you."
He nodded "Ah. Well, I heard about the case when you were brought in and I wasn't happy with the way you were treated and I wanted to help you if I can so I spoke to the superintendent and he agreed that I should help."
Colleen sighs. "He only said that so that I wouldn't sue the police right?."
Liam Zaine looked shocked that anyone would say such a thing. "Of course not. We all want to make sure that you get a fair trial that is all.. "
Colleen rolls her eyes at him. "You don't believe I'm innocent do you?.. None of you do."
