She gasps at the news. "Really Professor?.. What happened?."
Professor Richmond shrugged. "We drifted apart and I found solace in another woman and My wife threw me out so I practically lost everything."
She nodded understanding. "So you've been on your own since?."
He shakes his head. "Actually a few years later we met again and realized that we couldn't be without each other."
She smiles in return. "So you had a happy ending then?.."
He grins "Yeah.. You see Colleen There is light at the end of the tunnel you just have to find yours."
She pushes the pushchair back and forth to stop Damien crying. The Professor turns around a moment to gather up his papers once more. He turns around hearing someone walk down the stairs. "Actually here comes my wife now."
Colleen turns to see a woman that was slim and tall in a slender build with Brown short hair.
The woman Smiles "Hello who is this then?."
The Proffesor grins and introduces them both. "Colleen this is my wife Susan." He nods at Susan. "Susan this is Colleen an old pupil of mine."
Susan shakes Colleen's hand. "It's nice to meet you..so what brings you here to a condemned building?.. Are you reminiscing about the good old days."
Colleen shrugs "I didn't actually expect to be here and I didn't know the school had closed down."
Susan nodded understanding "It seems so sad doesn't it?."
Colleen nodded argeeably "Yeah it does.. It certainly puts my bad day in prospective."
Colleen suddenly breaks down in tears. Susan looked at her sadly giving her a hug. "Oh sweetheart what's wrong?."
Colleen takes a deep breath and explains. "Me and my husband Lyle met here and we had a beautiful baby boy and now I've had to throw him out because of him cheating with my ex best friend."
Susan nodded understanding. "Aww honey I understand me and John have been there so we know how it is but if your sure that there is nothing there anymore then you've done the right thing but if not.."
Colleen frowns "Are you saying I should give him a second chance?"
Susan nodded and shrugged at the same time. "Why not?.. It worked for us..I'm just saying life is too short, At Least hear him out."
Colleen nodded. "Yeah maybe but I'm not going to him..He's coming to me if he wants a second chance so badly."
Colleen wipes away her tears. "Thank you both you've been a great help.. I should get stroppy over here home..I think he's hungry."
Susan and her husband smiled "Your welcome."
Susan and her husband waved as Colleen pushes the pushchair and walks out of the lecture hall for the final time.
