A few years later

Colleen and Lyle and Colleen's friend Skylar graduated from school A year ago today and they were all hanging out together at the mall.

Colleen looks at her husband Lyle. "This is so fun..I don't know why we never did this before!.. We should do it more often!

Skylar giggles. "It's probably because every time we asked you if we could all hang out together sometime you'd say "But isn't three a crowd?!."

Colleen rolls her eyes at her friend "That'ts not true..". She looks at her husband for back up. "Sorry babe she's got a point."

Colleen sighs "Okay.. your right I guess haha."

They walk down a corridor in the mall and Lyle spots the men's toilets. "I'll be right back.. I gotta pee."

Colleen giggles and kisses him. "Hurry back."

He winks "I'm going nowhere."

As he left Skylar looks at Colleen. "So how's it going?."

Colleen sighs. "Honestly?.. He's like a different person around me these days.. He's gotta help for his drinking."

Skylar nodded. "That's good I guess..What do you mean?."

Colleen shrugs. "I don't know.. He's just been different lately and distant."

Skylar frowns. "You don't think he's cheating on you do you?."

Colleen shakes her head. "I hope not because if he is then he's obviously not thinking about me and Damien..I don't want to end up in a big custody battle and I must certainly don't want a divorce we've worked so hard at this and come so far."

Skylar nodded remembering the events of all these years ago. "I know.. I just wat you to be happy that's all."

Suddenly Lyle returns from his bathroom break. "Alright girls?." He bares his teeth in a cheeky grin. "You wasn't talking about me were you?."

Colleen winks "Now that Lyle would be telling."

Lyle tuts playfully. "Hmm secrets already and we've barely been married 2 years!."

She pushes him playfully. "Shut up you idiot."

Lyle puts his arm around her and together along with their friend Skylar they head back to the car.

A few hours later

Lyle drops Skylar off at her house. Skylar leans in the front after taking her seat belt off giving them both a kiss on the cheek. "Thanks guys It was fun.. We should do it again sometime."

Lyle grins "Yeah we should Bye Skylar."

Colleen waves"Goodbye babe talk later."

Skylar shuts the door and Lyle drives off towards home.

Colleen grins "Well today was fun wasn't it?."

Lyle ignores her.

Colleen sighs "Lyle I'm talking to you."

He looks at her. "What?."

Colleen groans "You've gone in to quiet mode again!.. What is up with you?.. Your fine when we are around Skylar and other people but when we are alone your like this.."

Lyle sighs and looks at her. "It's complicated."

Colleen looks at Lyle and sighs. "Whatever.. lets just go and relieve the babysitter. I'm dying to go and see Our little boy.. At least he might talk to me!."
