Ds Shields returns to the station the next day. Something was bothering him. "If Colleen chambers really killed her husband then..Where is the body?."
Ds Shields was in his dreamlike world trying to figure out the case and because of this he wasn't watching where he was going.

Ds Shields bumps into one of his colleagues which sends them both colliding with the floor and in the unfortunate incident Shields bumps his head on the corridor wall.
"I'm dreadfully sorry sir but the boss wants to see you."
Shields rubs his head and gets up groaning. "That's an excellent start to my morning.. What does he want exactly?."
His colleague shrugs. "I'm guessing its something to do with us failing to make any headway of this case... He's not happy.""
Shields tuts. "Well my day just gets better and better.." He brushes himself down and heads towards the bosses office.
He knocks on the door.
"Enter!!"
Ds Shields puts his head around the door.
"You wanted to see me sir?."
His boss smiles. "Ah yes Shields come in.."
Shields does as he was told and closes the door.
"Take a seat please Shields."
He did as he asked and sat down nervously. "Sir.. If this is about the case..."
His boss held up his hand for silence. "You're right.. Where are we on the case?.."
Shields sighs. "Well.. I haven't spoken to forensics yet but I doubt they will find anything because When we arrested Colleen Chambers there wasn't a thing out of place.. The house looked clean sir.. Too clean."
His boss nodded. "What about a confession?."
Shields nodded. "I'm still working on that sir.. I can feel it in my gut that she's almost broken sir.. We all know she did it."
His boss nodded. "Well..The clock's ticking You have 3 hours left of our 48 hour holding period.. If you can't get a confession and there is no forensics then we will have to let her go and consider this case closed."
Shields stands up. "What about searching the nearby canal's with divers sir?."
His boss shook his head. "I'm afraid the budget would not allow it.. Do you even know where you're looking?."
Shields shook his head. "Not exactly sir.."
His boss sighs "Work on the Confession and talk to Forensics otherwise we have no case."
Sheilds nodded. "Sir." And then left the room.
