Her Iron Knight

Chapter 6

*Gajeel's POV*

It can't be.  How is he still alive?  I thought he was dead.   I heard the clamour of us people rushed out of the audience chamber, and rushing to get the princesses out.   "Metalicana." I spoke out.

"Gajeel.  We need to get out of here." Levy said, pulling on my arm.

"No." I told her, looking back and down at her.   "You and the others need to get out of here."  Levy just looked up at me, shocked.  "I can't leave you here." she said.

"I'll be fine Shrimp." I replied to her.  "I'm gonna help get the others out safely."  just then, we were interrupted by the sound of a young girl's scream.  Levy and I looked from the railing and saw Wendy, with her legs under some rubble.  That kid she was around was trying to get that rubble off of her.   "Wendy!!" Levy screamed.  I don't know if she was thinking, but Levy was already running down to where they were and I found myself yelling at her and running behind her.  "Princess, are you crazy?!"  I asked, when we made it to where Wendy was.  

"I'm not crazy!" she said, moving a piece of rubble off of Wendy's legs.  "I'm not leaving my sister and Romeo behind."  I helped them, seeing Metalicana coming closer.  Memories of my past came flowing through my head from him being here.  "Gajeel..." I heard that dragon speak to me.   "Why did you leave us?"  I ignored him and continued to help with Wendy.

After the rubble was off of her, she was crying.  Her legs were broken from rubble falling onto them.  I gently picked her up and looked at Levy and Romeo.   "Take Wendy and get out of here."

"No." Levy said.  "Not without you!"

"Shrimp, would you just forget playing the princess right now?  You are in danger just by staying here!"  I said to her. 

"Gajeel, I'm not trying to play the princess right-look out!!" she yelled, pushing the three of us out of the way.  With Wendy still in my arms, I landed on my back and Romeo fell to his side.  I looked at Levy, who was in the grasp of the Iron Dragon.  "Levy!!" Wendy screamed.   I got up and handed Wendy to Romeo.  "Get out of here and find Erza!" 

"What about you?" he asked. 

"I'm going to help Levy!" I said.  "Go now!" Without a hesitation, Romeo made us way through the rubble and debris, and ran out with Wendy in his arms.  I attention turned back to Metalicana and Levy.  "Metalicana!!   Put the Princess down!" I yelled at the dragon. 

Levy was struggling to get out of his grasp, as Metalicana looked more closely at her.  "Gajeel...are you saying you will return with me to Master Jose?"  My eyes widened in shock.  Jose wanted me back.  I almost died trying to get away from him.  "I'll never go back to that place!!"  I yelled at him.  "But this fight doesn't include the Princess.  So put her down!"

Metalicana glares at me.  Levy, still struggling, looks at me will eyes full of fear.  "Gajeel,  what does he mean?" 

"So, you haven't told anybody?" Metalicana said, moving Levy closer to his peripheral view.  "Well, I just we'll just let the Princess see for herself."

"Let her go!" I said, with fire in my eyes.  I couldn't let Levy find out who I was.   It would kill her to know about that.   Metalicana only smirked as I felt the power flow through me.  With his free claws, he flicked me so hard that I slammed my head to the wall, and rubble fell on top of me, cutting and bruising me.   "Gajeel!!"  I heard Levy say with distress in her voice.  From there, the last thing I did was reach for her.  "Levy..." I managed to say before I saw black. 

*Levy's POV*

"Gajeel!!" I cried after Metalicana had flicked him so hard.  There was so much power in this dragon.  It's hard to believe that he is here.   I've read books about dragons before and they have been legends about them, but it's hard to believe that I am literally on one's grasp. 

"Levy..." I heard Gajeel say, before he fell unconscious under rubble.  My eyes widened and started to tear up.  He never said my name unless he had to.  

"As for you Princess, I think Jose will make good use of you."  I heard Metalicana say.   he spread his wings and flew off with me.  "No!!  Let me go!"  I said, struggling to get out of his grasp.  "HELP!!!"  I screamed out.   All I could think about was Gajeel and my family.   This isn't good.  I don't know what's going on.  But I just hope my family is safe, especially Gajeel. 

Metalicana kept flying towards a dark mountain.   Where was he taking me?

*Erza's POV*

"Princess Erza!!"  I heard young Romeo Conbolt call for me.   I turn around and see him holding Wendy in his arms.   Wendy was crying.   "Romeo!  Wendy!" I say running to meet them halfway.  "What happened?"

Wendy tried to talk, but she was crying that I couldn't understand.  "Gajeel...trying to save...Levy...help."  Romeo managed to save between breaths.

"What?  Where are they?" I asked Romeo fearfully. 

"The audience...chamber." he said. 

"Mira!!  Lisanna!!  Kinana!!"  I call for my maids.  "Take Wendy and Romeo to the Medical Center and fast."  Mira picked up Wendy while Kinana helped Romeo.  After that, I ran straight towards the audience chamber.  "Erza.  It's too dangerous!" I heard Jellal say, running after me.  

"My sister is back there." I said, drawing out my hidden sword.   "I'm not stopping until I know my sister and Gajeel are okay."

As I entered the audience chamber, I saw dust, rubble and debris everywhere.   That dragon really did a number on the mess.   "Levy!!  Gajeel!!"  I called out for them.   I ran down the stairs and was careful around the mess.  

Jellal was close behind me, and we looked and looked everywhere.  Suddenly I heard a groan of pain.   I followed it to one of the more steady walls.  There I saw a muscular, tan body with black hair, covered in blood.   "Gajeel!"  I called out, running quickly towards him.  Once I was at his side, I started to move the rubble off of him.  Soon after Jellal was helping. 

Once we finished with that, we helped him up against the wall.  "Gajeel, wake up!" Jellal said, shaking him. 

Gajeel, winced in pain, and slowly opened his eyes.  "Prince...Jellal...?"  he questioned.  Then he looked at me.  "Princ--ess Erza?"

"Gajeel.  Where is Levy?  Is she alright?"  Jellal asked. 

Gajeel looked troubled.  "Metalicana...has grown...more powerful...he took..."  he started coughing.   The dust around us didn't help his condition.  Since we were right next to a window, I took the edge of my sword and broke it, allowing him to get some fresh air. 

"He took what?  What did he take?" Jellal asked him. 

Gajeel's voice was dry, and quiet.  "He took...L-Levy."

Hey guys!!  Well, here is the first chapter for today.   I told you guys that I might update twice today because I have a messed up schedule tomorrow so I won't be able to update tomorrow, unfortunately.
