Chapter 13

*Levy's POV*

I ran towards him. "Gajeel!" I yelled out to him. His iron coating was disappearing, and he was covered in scratches, bruises, and blood. I fell to the ground beside him, only to find him still breathing, but weak. I cried, he is really hurt. "Princess Levy." Juvia spoke to me. "Juvia can help him."

I looked at her with tears in my eyes. "Please...Juvia you have to help."

"Do not leave his side." She said, as she walked back over to Metalicana. She took a dagger and cut through the dragon's scales and collected the fresh blood that came from it. I became confused to why she was doing this, but she walked back over and ripped her skirt for cloth. She put a tiny amount of the dragon's blood on the cloth and began to dab Gajeel's wounds. He flinched at the touch of it, but I noticed that they were healing, almost immediately. "Juvia has told you that Gajeel has part of Metalicana in him. Dragon blood is a wonderful medicine ingredient, but pure dragon blood will heal Gajeel because he is part dragon. It's like magic." Juvia explained.

"Juvia, how do you know about this?" Gray asked.

"Juvia learned from Metalicana." she said, finishing healing Gajeel. "Metalicana knew Gajeel was special, so he told Jose that he would be stronger if he was part dragon. Jose was a fool. He didn't know that Metalicana was the one who put that power in Gajeel."

Suddenly, I felt Gajeel begin to stir around. I looked at him, and his ruby eyes were slowly opening. "Gajeel?!" I started to tear up.

"Hey Shrimp." he smiled and spoke weakly, sitting up.

I immediately hugged him tightly and started to cry. "Gajeel, you idiot! Never do something like that to me again!"

I felt his arms wrap around me, returning the hug. "Don't worry, you don't have to worry about me fighting a dragon like that again." he said. "There won't be another dragon like that again to separate you from your family."

"Yeah, speaking of which, we need to get back." Gray interrupted us.

"Hey Lieutenant Popsicle. Don't interrupt." Natsu told him.

Suddenly, they butted heads. "Princess Erza and Prince Jellal gave us specific orders to go with Gajeel and rescue Princess Levy, Private Pinky. So shut up, I get impatient."

"I told you its not Pink! It's Salmon!" Natsu retorted back.

"Same color!" Gray yelled. Suddenly, they started to fight.

"Did they fight like this on the way here?" I asked Gajeel.

"Yeah, and at one point I just ditched them and left them to fight." he answered. "Erza also mentioned that they weren't supposed to fight like that on the way here and back."

"Wait until she hears what happened." I said, laughing.

"Yeah, they are gonna be in a world of hurt." he said, laughing in his own unique way. I looked at Gajeel and blushed. "Hey why're you blushing princess?" he asked me.

"Because of what happened before your battle with Jose." I said, remembering that he claimed my first kiss.

"Yeah, sorry about that." he said, rubbing the back of his head.

"What do you need to be sorry for?" I asked him.

"Well, I..." he started. I simply cut him off, by kissing him. It must have taken him a few seconds before he realized what I was doing. I felt his lips curl up into a smile as he kissed back.

It wasn't until Gray interrupted us again, by clearing his throat. "We should really head back." he said.

"Its too dark outside." Juvia said. "We should get some sleep and go early in the morning."
