Epilogue

*Levy's POV*

It has been three years since Gajeel proposed. We decided to wait a year until we were married, because we wanted Erza and Jellal to be comfortable with their new lives. Six months after they were married, we learned that Erza was pregnant with their first child. I was so excited. A new prince or princess was going to join the family. 

Nine months later, we learned that Erza had twins, a boy and a girl. They named them Reiki and Rosemary. Reiki was the older of the two, which meant he was next in line for the throne. I'm pretty sure that he was going to be a great king, just like his father.

Wendy is walking again, which was a strong improvement on her. She also had a strong friendship with Romeo, who was turning into quite a handsome young man. I know that one day, they will be married and they will have happy lives.

Natsu was promoted to the second in command for the Royal army. Shortly after, he and Lucy were married and have two kids of their own, Luke and Nashi.

Juvia is not wasting another day in her life.  She lives each day like it was her last. Gray doesn't like to admit it, but he is in love with Juvia. After two years, he finally asked her to marry him, and she said yes.

As for me, I'm happily married to my knight. However, this is during a bad time. The kingdom's of Magnolia and Sorciére are at war with the Tartaros kingdom, which meant Gajeel had to leave. Gray and Natsu were joining him.

"Gajeel. Do you really have to go?" I asked, hugging him tightly.

"Shrimp, look at me." he said. I looked at him, with tears in my eyes. He simply wiped them away. "There's no need to cry. I'm gonna come back unharmed. Same goes for the rest of this army."

"But what if something happens...?" I asked

"Then don't lose hope." he said. "Besides, I'll be back before know it. This war is going to end before you know it. If I don't go, who is going to keep our family safe?"

I knew what he meant. Four months after me and Gajeel were married, I became pregnant with our first child. I'm currently at sixth months in my pregnancy. Even though Gajeel was now royalty, he still served in his position as Captain of the Dragon Guard, earning his title "Black Steel".

"I know, I'm just gonna miss you." I cried, burying my face into his chest.

"I'm gonna miss you too, Levy. But I'll be back in time to meet our kid. Okay? Besides, I wouldn't want to miss it." he said, smirking.

I let go of the hug and took my headband off. I wrapped it around his wrist, just like when we were kids and when he rescued me long ago. I looked up at him. "Promise you'll come back safely." I said.

"I promise." he smiled.  We then kissed for a little bit. We broke the kiss, then he grabbed his things, and left. I stood where I was, waiting for him to return. I knew there was nothing to fear, because he is strong enough to come back unharmed. After all, he is my prince, my husband, my Iron Knight.

Hey guys!  Well, here marks the end of this story. Sadly, I am not going to make a sequel to this book, but I will make more Fairy Tail Fanfics.

This book has been fun to write, but I couldn't have done it without you guys. After all, this book has finally reached 1k reads!! This is all because of you. You guys are awesome.
