We'd hit hyperdrive about an hour ago without knowing where we were headed. I left Isaias and Rad at the controls, along with Luka, who was still somewhat in shock, the poor boy. I flopped in my bunk and stared at the ceiling.
What had I done?
"I know exactly what you've done."
I jumped.
"You have refused to complete your task. I will find you in whatever star-cursed corner of the galaxy you choose to hide in, and you will suffer the consequences of your choice."
Andar Gold. He was coming.
To this day, he's the only person in the galaxy I think I could kill.
