Hey! Ready to rock?! I hope so!
Here's the first chapter!
Enjoy!
Nameless persons POV
"Mmm...." I moaned as I sat up. I admired the scenery, the beautiful forest surrounding the clearing I was in, the lake, the waterfall rushing from the cliff above.
Wait.... How did I get here? Where am I? Who am I? WHAT am I? What the heck is going on? How is it I don't know who I am? What am I doing here? Why do I have all these questions? Why does my head hurt? How do I know this is called a head?!
"Just calm down and let the questions answer themselves." I muttered.
How can I talk? Can I stand up?
I stood and found that I could stand and walk quite steadily.
I looked down to find I was wearing only a black blanket over my shoulders, and with this, also came that I was a girl.
I looked around and could some vines and fastened the blanket with a vine holding it up from my chest and waist, leaving the parting place up my leg so I could move freely of I needed to.
I found that my hair was quite long, but easy to manage. I pulled a cattail and tied my hair into a loose floppy bun that came down to my waist.
I looked around and picked a direction to walk in, I would find civilization somehow.
Along my mysterious path i was lost deep in thought until bright sunlight hit me as I stepped into a field.
Across the field there was a small town, maybe I could get what I need there.
Once I reach town I spotted a woman and walked over to her.
"Umm... Excuse ma'am, could you please direct me to a store. Or someplace I can get clothes? I'm not from around here, I do not know my way. I am lost."
She laughed. "I wouldn't think so, follow me, I own a local store, I can get you what you need."
"Thank you so very much!" I said happily and bowed my head.
I followed her to a store and we walked in.
"Well, this is it, my little store, pick out anything ya like. It's all free, unless you want to help me with a few chores around the house. I don't really care, we hardly ever get customers, we need a bit of a depletion in our stock!" She laughed
I nodded and walked over to the clothing section.
I picked out: two long sleeved black shirts, two short sleeved ones, and a tank top, all black. A few pairs of long black pants, a few pairs of black shorts that want I my knees, a pair of short shorts, and a miniskirt. I got a two pairs of black leggings and one red pair am a silver pair. Two pairs of black combat boots and some socks. I found a headband and a belt and got them as well. I also found some gloves, one pair was 1/2 fingered and went to my wrists and then flared out, one had no fingers, just a hole for my thumb and hung loosely on my hands, one had no fingers and a hole for my thumb that went to wrists and flared out as well, another was just a pair of arm warmers, one was fingerless cloth with fishnet for fingers, there were also identical pairs that went up to my elbow. I got them all. I picked out some ribbons and a blindfold. I got a cloak and some pieces of black fabric as well.
I moved on to a different section and picked up some bandages.
I found some string and got that as well.
I found some food in a package and a large black messenger bag to carry it all in.
On my way back to the woman I spotted a nice dagger and grabbed it as well.
I walked back to the woman. "This is all that I want, can you take me to a place I can get it organized and try it on?" I asked timidly.
She smiled and laughed again. "Sure sweetie, my house is close."
"Thank you, you've shown me so much kindness, how can I repay you?"
"I jut have some chores that I hen been able to get done lately, that's all I need."
"Alright then!" She chirped and led the way to her house.
She led me to a bathroom where I was to get changed and organized.
I put on the black long sleeved shirt and black fingerless gloves that didn't flare out, black pants and combat boots. I strapped the dagger to my hip, using a black piece of cloth as a belt.
I then found a hairbrush and brushed out my long hair.
I took the knife and cut it to the middle of my back, I liked it long, but it would just get in the way.
I pulled it into a low braid and tied it with some string.
I brushed my bangs out of the way and found a strange tattoo that was rather like a dragon on my forehead. I brushed my hand over it and then tied the headband around it, not wanting people to see it. I had a very bad feeling about it.
I took a look at my eyes to find that they were dark purple with little shots of clue and silver in them. Pretty.
I looked at myself, my skin was very pale and over all, I looked a lot like a guy, but I didn't care. I looked cool, if they though I was a guy, so be it.
"You almost don't in there? You can keep the hairbrush, and I have a hat for you, it will come in handy."
I stepped out the door and smiled at her after putting the brush in my bag.
"Here, all I need you to do is fix the fence, fix a rip in a dress, and take something off my hands that I have never been able to sell.
"Alright, what do you want me to fix first?"
"The fence, it's right over there."
"Ok" I walked over to it, and something strange came over me.
I clapped my hands together then placed them on the fence, a black light crackled around me and then it was fixed.
"Woah...."
I walked back into the house and asked for the dress.
She looked shocked, but said nothing and handed me the dress and I repeated the process.
She handed me a black cowgirl hat and a black bag full of stuff.
"Thank you for doing those things for me, I hope you will do well in your travels! She said and waved.
I nodded. "Thank you for all your hospitality, it is greatly appreciated. Goodbye." With that I walked out the door without another word.
So? How did ya like it?
I need at least one comment and one vote before I post another chapter.
Thanks!
