Alejandra~

I woke up to alarms. This was unusual but, I knew what they meant, general quarters. I jumped out of bed and pulled on my black leather jeans. I secured my bulletproof vest in its place and pulled my black leather jacket over that. I grabbed the two pistols from my nightstand, and tucked them into their holsters on my hips. I put on my boots, and slipped a knife in both of them, and then tucked my lipstick knife in my back pocket. Yeah, I'm heavily armed, I'm the boss's daughter.

What made me silently chuckle, is that all of our bedroom doors opened at the same time, and we all went rushing toward the briefing room. As I walked into the control room, Allyson stared at me with a horrified look on her face.

"What's up Ally?" Adrian asked, a bit sleepily.

With that same nauseated look, Allyson swallowed and said, "There is a missile lock, on the orphanage. You have fifteen minutes to get all the kids, and staff out."

We all cursed. Why the orphanage?

Brandon shook his head, but began giving orders. "Adrian and Alejandra, Alejandra's driving." That's all Adrian and I stopped to listen too, before we ran out the door. I grabbed the keys to my black Lamborghini, and gassed it. On my way to the orphanage, I told Adrian to armor the car. Then I slid my glasses on, and put in my earpiece.

I laughed as soon as I turned on my earpiece because Allyson was screaming at me.

"Mission base, this is Ground Team One, proceeding to target location, are there any hostiles at target location?" I asked.

"Ground Team One this is Mission Base, if you had stayed, we would've briefed you. But no." Allyson answered. I chuckled, and encrypted my comm, limiting it to me and Adrian, temporarily blocking out Allyson's orders.

"Alright, Adrian," I began, "There are forty kids in there, plus staff. The goal is to get them out. Allyson should have the details in your glasses. Ready? Break."

He nodded, and I switched my comm back on. As soon as I opened the door, kids and staff poured out. One little girl just wouldn't go though. She looked up at me with awe in her eyes. I kissed her cheek and lightly pushed her toward the door. She still wouldn't go though.

"I'm staying with you." She stated boldly.

I rolled my eyes, and pulled my sidearm, locked the safety, and emptied the clip. I pointed my Glock at her, and said, "Go."

The little girl scurried off, back to her case worker, who was glaring evilly at me. What? If I had let her stay chances are everyone in here would've been blown to pieces. I met Adrian in the middle.

"Are the buses gone?" I asked.

"Everyone should be out." He replied.

"Alright then, lets go." I said.

"Wait!" Allyson screamed through my comm.

"What is it?" Adrian called through gritted teeth. "Ally, honey, I love you but we've got less than two minutes before this thing blows."

"I'm picking up a heat signal, at your six, hacking into the cameras now." she said, "Oh god. Its a three year old girl."

I smacked my forehead as Adrian pulled a c-4 charge from his arm.

"Allyson get the girl away from the door."

I heard a little girl go running to the other side of the room after a toy that had 'magically' lit up.

Adrian blew the door, and I ran in and grabbed the girl. It was the girl I had sung to about a week ago. (An: ABOUT A WEEK AGO, nvm)

"1:30!" Adrian called. I picked the girl up in a fireman's carry, and sprinted toward the closest door, with Adrian on my heels. As soon as I got maybe 50 yards away from the building, I turned just in time to watch the missile smack into the center.

"What are we going to do with her?" Adrian asked, as he turned to face me.

The little girl grabbed my hand and looked up at me, "Mami?" she asked, with a cute little pout.

I raised my eyebrow at Adrian.

"Hey, I'll do it if you will." He said to me, with a smirk on his face.

I glanced at her name tag: Analis Rodriguez.  Then the little girl did something unexpected, she joined all of our hands, and looked at Adrian and me and said, "Mami, Papi." Matter-of-factly.

"I guess we're doing it." I said.

Adrian picked up Analis, and spun her around in the air. She squealed and laughed, with a smile playing at her lips.

I laughed,  "Come on daddy, we've gotta get her home."

I held little Analis on my lap as Adrian sped home.

"Where will she sleep?" He asked.

"My parents never got rid of the nursery in my house," I answered. "She can sleep there. And we'll go shopping tomorrow."

"What about when we have to leave Alejandra?" Adrian asked, glancing at me out of the side of his eye, placing a hand on my knee.

"We'll take her with us." I said, glancing at his hand.

"We cannot take a two year old on a battle field Alejandra Lauren!" he responded, yelling slightly.

"Ariana was born on a battlefield Adrian Blake." I spat back.

Adrian squeezed my knee, and sighed, clearly giving up.

"Okay so how are we supposed to tell your parents?" He asked.

I looked at Analis, who was sleeping peacefully on my lap. "Adrian you're acting like I'm pregnant with your child."

"Well we are kinda in this together, and we did kinda just adopt her, so yes, you do have my kid, and I'm worried your dad will cut both of our throats!"

"We'll be fine. I'll tell them when the war is over."

Adrian sighed, resigning again. I placed my hand over his, and rubbed circles on the back of his hand. To be honest, I didn't know if we could do this either, but this little girl was ours now.

"She's our little girl." I whispered.

We tried to sneak our precious little treasure into the house, but Brandon and Ariana caught us.

"What do we have here?" Ariana asked.

Adrian looked at me, and held my hand.

"This is our daughter, Analis." He said.

Okay, so MAJOR PLOT TWIST. Adriana (ship name? Idk) HAS A FLIPPING CHILD OKAY. Yes I planned this, remember in that chapter where I touched on the little girl a little bit? I placed her there for a reason mwaha. Anyway, I know I want her on the battlefield, because it'll make for great cliffhangers. But anyway yah.

ANYWAY, I found out that Alejandra means savior of mankind, WELL THAT WASN'T PLANNED AT ALL. And I'm completely serious lol.

But, I don't do authors notes, and y'all know the drill,
