Skies burned in warm orange light, colors of blue and red flashed...

This was peaceful day, turned dystopian.

"They die in flames,

never really the same;

while slowly melting as the sun turns gray. "

What a pitiful town.

"...Sympathy was not kind to this land." Her voice flows in and out like it normally did, then giggling in the most childish of ways, she continues;  "Wanna know why?"

"No, not particularly." I answer back, my teeth bite down on my lower lip as I rest my head back onto the park's bench that had surprisingly not been ablaze yet. "Honestly caring would take effort. Me, being myself, doesn't really have much to spare. So, I really don't want anything to do with thi--"

"Lier." She hissed, I could almost feel her dramatic sigh on the back of my neck.

The sweat trickling down my forehead turned cold, not knowing how she concluded I was lying, I smoothly answered her back with a fine layer of sarcasm. "Really? How so?"

"They are dying, you know." It looked as if she was done with my small attempts to drag out the situation...Something a certain blond haired wimp* couldn't even see coming.

"...Yes, yes that's what you've been saying since I got here." I huffed rolling my eyes as I crossed my arms over my stomach, "And you know what I've been answering? "I don't know". Though, whoever 'They' are is causing me allot of trouble since you keep talking about them..."

"..." She says silence, so I took this as an opportunity to glance over at her blurry face; waiting for her next response. What next surprise me a bit, though...

She started to laugh.

"Ah yes, now that I think about it...you don't really understand what's happening behind the curtain."

"What the..? What's that supposed to mean exactly?" I question, chuckling lightly. "Seriously are you high or something? You know do understand doing drugs is a big N-O, right?"

"You get it from me, you know." The sudden change in the tone of her voice made my eyebrows furrow together.

"Excuse me?"

"Yeah, that and I'm pretty sure you're potty mouth." She giggles at this, "Actually that could of been from you're Grandmother."

"Okay seriously, WTH?" She sighed, but still kept laughing a bit.
