You know, there comes a time in every young teenage girl's life where you just have a really bad day at school without even trying.

For some, it could be walking out of the pubic restroom with toilet paper sticking from your shoe. For others, they burn down their Home Economics classroom. For me? It would be this;

"Ms. Mason, I cannot believe that you caused so much ruckus on your first day!" Mr. White, my new school principle, states angrily. My eyes were glued to the floor as I felt his and my mother's harsh glares sweep over me. "Running in the hallways—skipping class! What do you have to say for yourself?!"

Honestly, I hate getting yelled at. It angered me to no end because I knew I was getting in trouble for all the wrong reasons!

My anger was reaching it's max point, and at this moment I could probably punch someone's face into a wall—more likely it will be that fat lady who busted me—but I continued to keep my cool in front of the adults.

"I'm waiting, Ms. Mason." Mr. White continued, I finally look up to him with a small smile—holding back the sinister grin that tried to surface.

"Well Mr. White..."

The dinning room held a eerie silence after I had told my father what had happen on my first day of school. I didn't bother myself with knowing his reaction(it would be most likely one of anger) so I continued to look down at my food as I ate some of the mash potatoes on the side of my plate.

"So let me get this straight," My dad finally begins, setting down the utensils he was using to cut his steak. I look up at him with a bored glance. "First you skip class, then run in the hallways and passed out due to unknown reasons. Then after, you got yourself into three weeks of detention but didn't because you told them you only ran in the hallway just to see the nurse..?"

"...Yeeeeah." I answered honestly, then stared at him for a moment to see what his reaction would be to how I responded. He—surprisingly—grins.

"You get that trouble side of yours from your mother's side of the family." He said chuckling under his breath. Mom, who sat across him, shrugged as if to say; 'I guess so'.

"But don't you want to know the real reason why I was running in the hallway?" I asked, the younger ones, Emily and Ryan, looks at me with sparkling eyes.

"Why..?" Ryan asked with an innocent tilt of the head. I lean over the table and gesture him to come closer.

"I was running from a monster lady!" I yelled, making Emily yelp and hide under the table while Ryan laughed. "She had yellow teeth and a horrible British accent! And her face! It was the ugliest face you'd ever seen!"This made my dad laugh while my mother roll her eyes.

"Please don't talk about Ms. Lend like that..."

"Oh come on, mom. Don't tell me you didn't think the same thing?" I inquired, she looked away from me guilty but doesn't say a word. "I thought so."
