Chapter 6: Courage

Gary's pov

Ever since that incident, Jihyo and I no longer speak to each other except for during filming.

We were like strangers once the cameras are off. Up till now, I still don't understand why did she react that way when she insisted that Chang joo didn't hit her.

I spin the pen around my thumb and stare hard at the yellow single-line papers, trying to come up with lyrics.

"Aish!" I shouted exasperatedly. I threw the pen onto the table. It hit the monitor and rolled off the table.

I leaned back on my swivel chair with my hands behind my head. I closed my eyes and let out a deep sigh.

I felt a sudden coldness against my arm. I opened my eyes and glance towards my right. Gil was holding on to two cans of beer. He placed one can on the table.

"Yah. If you're thinking about her then give her a call. Don't vent your anger on the pen." he grumbled with his husky voice as he bent down to retrieve the pen.

*Psska*

I pulled the tab on the can and took a gulp. "We don't even talk now." I lamented and drank the remaining beer in one shot.

"So you're not going to talk to her if she doesn't talk to you? Yah! You're a guy! Shouldn't you take the initiative?"

What Gil said wasn't wrong but what if she doesn't wants to see me? What if she's still mad at me?

"Ah! Gil, I don't know. I feel so confused now. " I crushed the empty can with my hands and placed it on the table.

"It's your feeling, not mine. Think about it." Gil calmly replied and excused himself to the washroom.

I shifted my gaze from the crushed can to my phone that was next to the yellow single-line paper pad. Should I or should I not?

"Ah! Whatever!" I mumbled to myself and reached out to my phone.

To Jihyo

Jihyo, are you free? I've got something to discuss with you. Dinner at my restaurant tomorrow?

I threw my phone aside after sending the message to Jihyo. "Chebal!" I mumbled.

Hope you guys like the first few chapters! I'll try my best to update everyday if possible!

On a side note, by now I'm sure many of you would have heard about Jihyo's decision to join the China version of 'We Got Married'.
What do you guys think about it?

I feel that if someone really supports Jihyo and Monday Couple,  they should not bash her or berate her but respect her decision instead.
