Jihyo's pov
I took out my phone that was vibrating in my back pocket and saw Gary's name under the notification bar. I swiped across the screen, opening the content of the message.
'Mianhae.' that was what he sent. I stared at the message, contemplating if I should reply. "Jihyo-yah, did something happened?" Eun wol asked as she looked at me through the reflection in the van front mirror.
I was about to reply her when I received another message.
To Jihyo:
I know that you read the previous message. I know that I was at fault for not sparing a thought about your feelings. Please reply me. I'm sorry.
From Gary
"Jihyo, gwaenchanha?" my manager asked again after not receiving a reply from me.
"Nothing happened. I'm just tired." I smiled at her and turned my attention back to my phone.
Minutes later, my phone light up with another message from Gary.
To Jihyo:
Looks like you won't be replying to any of my messages. But can you just tell me that you have reach home? So that at least I know that you are safe and sound.
From Gary

Narration
Eun wol stopped the van at the car park under Jihyo's apartment. She turned around to inform Jihyo that they had reached her apartment and caught her rubbing her eyes and sniffing at the same time. She suspected that Jihyo had been crying silently from their way back to Jihyo's apartment.
"Gomawo unnie." Jihyo alight from the van and bowed at her.
"Jihyo-yah. You can always talk to me if there's something bothering you. Remember that." Eun wol wind down the window and told her. She was fully aware that Jihyo would deny that something had happened if she were to ask her and decided that it will be best if she wait for Jihyo to broach the topic.
"Ne, unnie. Drive safely." With the words that Eun wol said, Jihyo wondered if her manager saw her crying. She was hoping that she did not notice it. She went up to her apartment after Eun wol drives off and sat down on her bed. She took out her phone from her bag and noticed another message from Gary.
To Jihyo:
Have you reach home? By now, I hope you have. Sleep tight, mong ji. Saranghae.
From Gary
"Oppa, you too." Ji hyo typed on her phone. After a few seconds, she deleted the words and locked her phone and set it aside.
Meanwhile, Gary managed to enter his apartment with the help from his manager. He hobbled his way to the couch and sat down. "Gary, you really don't want to see a doctor?" Kwon rae asked as he examined his ankle which was red and swollen.
Gary move his ankle slightly and winced in pain. "Gwaenchanha. It will subside on its own."
Kwon rae looked at Gary and glanced at his ankle with a pain expression on his face. "I'm really okay. It's late. You should get going now. I won't see you out." Gary chased him out by pushing him lightly.
"Arasseo. Take care of yourself. Call me if you need help." Kwon rae took his car key and leave Gary's apartment.
Gary gave Jihyo a call but she didn't pick up. "I guess she's still mad at me." he mumbled and scrolled through the messages that he sent to Jihyo.
Unable to walk properly without feeling a sharp pain on his right leg, Gary had no choice but to sleep on the couch. He slowly lift his right leg up onto the couch and rest it on a cushion. Gary didn't realize that he sprained his ankle so badly, even after Kwon rae told him about it until he was able to carefully inspect it with the lights on. "Aish.. This will take some time to heal." he touched it lightly and immediately regret it as he shout out in pain.

The next morning, Gary woke up with a pounding headache. He tried to sit upright on the couch but the pain in his ankle was preventing him from doing so. He tried to stretch his arms out to the coffee table to grab his phone but it was too far away. There's nothing that he could do but to just lie down on the couch and bear with the pain that seems to be traveling to his lower back.
Throughout the day, his phone rang multiple times. Even if he wants to pick them up, he couldn't do so. He found himself getting weaker as the time pass by. And soon, it was already at night.
Not knowing that something had happened to Gary, Haha had been trying to contact him since the afternoon. He decided to call Jihyo to see if she know where Gary is at.
"Oh Haha oppa. Annyeong." Jihyo answered the call.
"Jihyo, sorry for disturbing you at night but do you know where Gary is?" Haha urgently asked her.
"I'm afraid not.. We had a quarrel yesterday." Jihyo confessed.
"Ah, jinjja? I tried to contact him since the afternoon but he didn't pick up at all. It's not like him to not answer the calls. I'm afraid that something might have happened." Haha explained.
"He hasn't been answering since the afternoon?!" Jihyo thought to herself. She had been ignoring him the entire night. She thought about the message that Gary sent at 1am and after that, she did not receive any message from him; not even a 'good morning' message which he usually would send even when they argued.
"Is it possible that he went to drink the night before and is too drunk to answer your calls?" Jihyo asked.
"I went to visit all the clubs that he frequent. But no one saw him there. I'm going over to his place right now."
"Arasseo oppa. Wait for me. I'll meet you there." Jihyo ended the call. It was just nice for her that her drama filming has just ended. She went to find her manager and told her to send her to Gary's apartment.
Even though Jihyo is mad at Gary, he is still someone important to her. She prayed hard, hoping that nothing will happen to him while her manager drive to Gary's house.
