"You did what?"

"How could you? Just stay outside!"

Lying on the hospital bed, Jihyo could hear the same voice shouting outside her ward. Still feeling slightly light-headed, she propped herself up on the bed with her elbows and leaned her back against the wall. The door swung opened and Eun wol entered.

"Jihyo-yah, gwaenchanha?" Seeing that she was awake, Eun wol rushed over to her bedside and asked.

Jihyo nodded silently and glanced at the glass window covered partially by the blinds. She recognized the male figure standing at the hallway with his back facing the wall. Kang gary.

"The doctor said you fainted from shock. How could Gary do this to you! You love him so much yet he still-"

"Unnie, can you please stop talking for a moment?" Jihyo interrupted and looked at her. She needed some peace. Eun wol quietened down and poured some water for her.

"Has he been waiting outside all this while?" Jihyo asked after a few minutes of silence. Her manager turned to the direction of the window and looked back to her. She nodded her head and asked if she wanted him to enter.

Jihyo shook her head and replied, "I don't want to see him, for now."

"Unnie, can you send me back to my own house once I'm discharge?" She requested while staring at the IV drip needle stuck into the vein in her wrist.

"What about Hyo eun?"

"I'll get her after settling down," she replied.

"Arasseo. I'll pick you up tomorrow morning. Have a good rest." Eun wol patted Jihyo's shoulder and said.

"Gomawo," Jihyo thanked her manager and watched her as she exit the room.

Gary had been waiting outside the ward for almost an hour. He had the urge to go in and check on her but he knew that she wouldn't want to see him. The minute Eun wol came out of the ward, he went up to her and asked about Jihyo's condition.

He was relief to hear that she was fine yet at the same time, he felt dismayed that Jihyo was planning to return back to her own house. He couldn't blame her for wanting to do that. It was his fault. He broke her trust and the promise of being faithful. Though he secretly wished that the both of them could find a time to talk, judging by the current circumstances, it would be difficult.

He continued to stay outside the ward even after Eun wol left. Looking into the window through the gap of the blinds, he saw her lying on her side with her eyes closed. He quietly entered the room and gently lifted the blanket to cover her body. Hearing footsteps from behind, he turned and saw a nurse entering.

"Excuse me,"

Gary placed a finger against his lips and gestured for her to lower down her volume. The nurse understood and spoke to him softly, "Sir, I'm sorry but you have to leave now. It's way past visitation hour."

"Sorry about it." he apologized and quietly walked out of the room.

Seong mun was resting on the couch when Gary returned home. He informed him that Hyo eun was still soundly asleep. Gary went inside the baby room to take a look. He stroked her head and kissed her cheek before heading back to the living room.

"How's noona?" Seong mun asked.

"She's fine. She will be discharging tomorrow morning. I'm counting on you to take care of her."

Seong mun looked at him blankly. He didn't quite understand what Gary meant by that. "Noona isn't coming back to this house?" he questioned.

"I made a mistake. Don't ask me what it was. Just.. Help me to take care of her. That's all that I request. And thanks for coming so late at night. You can stay over tonight if you wish to. There's an extra pillow in Hyo eun's room." Gary told him.

"Ne, hyung." Seong mun quietly replied.

He could sense that Gary wasn't in the mood to chat. There was a despondent look on Gary's face. He took the pillow from Hyo eun's room and brought it out to the couch. Whatever it was, Seong mun would need to wait till the next morning before he could find out what happened between his sister and Gary.
