Eun wol arrived at the hospital at 8am and went straight to the reception counter to fill in the discharge form. She entered her ward and saw her sitting on the bed. Jihyo looked better than she was yesterday. At least, she wasn't looking as pale as before.

"Ready to go?" Eun wol asked.

Jihyo simply nodded and stood up. As they headed towards her car, Eun wol took out a blue envelope from her bag and passed it to her. "From Gary. He was here a while ago but I guess he already left." she told her while scanning the car park with her eyes.

Jihyo grabbed the envelope and entered the car. "Aren't you going to open it?" her manager quizzed as she start the car engine and drives off.

"Later.." she mumbled and looked out of the car window. Eun wol left soon after sending Jihyo back to her house. She initially felt weird being back at her own house after more than a year but after walking around the house, she felt more adjusted to it. It seems like Seong mun did some household chores, she thought. The house looked even neater than before.

She looked into her brother's room but he wasn't there. She went back into her room and placed the envelope on the study table. Luckily, there were still some clothes in her wardrobe. She took a shower, changed into simple white tee shirt and shorts, and sat down on her bed. Her eyes were fixed on the blue envelope. She grabbed it from the table and open it and unfolded the paper inside.

To the one and only woman that I love - Ji Hyo,

I know you won't be wanting to see me for now. So the only way I can talk to you is through this letter. I was struggling everyday when I finally decided to tell you about it. The reason why I chose to be honest with you was because I love you. I can't bring myself to lie or hide the truth from you any longer. I can only blame myself for making that mistake. No matter how many times I say that I love you or apologize to you, I know that it won't matter anymore. I've already broken the trust that you had in me. I understand that you need some time away from me but when you're ready to forgive me, when you're ready to come back, I'll be here. Even if you don't forgive me, I'll still continue to wait cause you're the love of my life and Hyo eun's omma.

Tears welled up in her eyes, blurring her vision and rolled down her cheeks, staining the letter. She tried to stuff the letter back into the envelope and a photo dropped out of it instead. She stared at it for a long time, not even realizing that Seong mun was back.

"Noona, what happened between you and Gary hyung?" He voice softened to a murmur as he stood at the door, looking at his sister staring at the photo. He walked closer for a better look. It was a photo of Gary and Jihyo, together with their daughter taken during Hyo eun's first birthday.

"Noona.. " his voice trailed off. Jihyo wiped away her tears and kept the letter and photo back inside the envelope.

"When did you returned home?" she asked, clearly trying to pretend that she was fine.

"Noona, what did hyung do?" he ignored her question and sat down beside her.

"You don't have to know.. " she mumbled. She kept the envelope in the drawer under the study table and walked out of the room.

"I'm your brother! Hyung isn't telling me and you are not telling me as well!" he shouted at her. He felt annoyed with the both of them. Whenever something happened, they never tell him what was wrong. Most of the time, he could only figure it out by himself.

"He slept with another woman!" Jihyo shouted back.

Seong mun scratched the back of his head upon hearing the revelation. Now it make sense to him regarding what Gary told him. Take care of your sister for me.

Jihyo poured herself a cup of iced water and gulped it down. "Do I need your permission to stay here?" she sarcastically asked.

Seong mun shook his head at her. "This is your house.." his voice trailed off. He didn't dare to question her any further, afraid that the more he ask, the more hurt she will be.

"I'll bring Hyo eun over in another few days," she informed him. Seong mun nodded silently and went back to his room. The moment he walked away, Jihyo propped her elbows on the kitchen counter. She buried her head in her hands and wept softly.
