“It’s about time! Hey nice dress!” Karley commented as I stepped out of my car. I wore a tight bright purple dress that had gems along one side. My blond hair fell in soft curls around my shoulders and my strap heels clicked against the pavement as I walked towards my best friend. “This guy must be hot if you’re wearing heels.”

“There’s just something about him,” I muttered.

“You mean something wrong?” a girl’s voice asked from behind me and I whipped around to see a woman standing with Ian and another man and amber as they smiled at me.

Instantly the heat rose to my cheeks and I stumbled over my words. “I...I…uh.”

“Oh for god’s sake way to go cadence now she can’t speak,” Ian growled and glared at his friend. They were all gorgeous and I suddenly felt very self conscious. Of course I already knew Ian and amber where very good looking but with these two new people I didn’t know what to do.

The second man had short blond hair that was slightly shaggy and dark brown eyes that shone with a smile. He wore a pair of dark jeans and a white button up shirt with rolled up sleeves and it showed off his perfect body. Cadence had long black hair that fell straight against her back and she had the most unusual silver eyes I had ever seen. She wore a short dark blue dress that clung to her body perfectly.

I heard Karley let out a low breath as she took in the gorgeous group. I suddenly wanted to cover myself and turn away as if I wasn’t good enough to be in their presence.

“Guys this is destiny and her best friend Karley. This is cadence and Dexter and of course you know amber,” Ian said and smirked at me and I almost fainted. How the hell could one man look so good?

“Why don’t we get inside before you make her pass out,” cadence offered and I felt myself blush again.

“You’re not helping,” Dexter laughed and headed towards the club. Karley and the other two girls quickly followed but I couldn’t move.

“Are you coming inside?” Ian asked as he stepped up in front of me.

“You didn’t tell me your friends were so good looking,” I growled and glared up at him.

“Sorry? I guess we don’t notice it,” he laughed and I smacked his arm.

“How can I even be in the same room as all of you?” I growled and his face turned serious as he looked down at me.

“Destiny you are gorgeous and you deserve everything,” he said and I looked up at him. His gaze softened and his hand found mine. “I know we just met but I feel a connection to you.” he felt it to! Good I wasn’t just going crazy!

“I feel the same,” I whispered and he smiled.

“Come on then let’s get inside and get to know each other,” he offered and pulled me towards the club. I loved the feeling of his hand in mine and I was glad that he hung onto it as we walked into the club and over to our friends who were already drinking.

“Okay tell me something,” I slurred as I leaned back in my seat. We had moved from the bar to the couches that sat along the far wall. Karley and Dexter had disappeared about an hour ago and I could only imagine what they were doing and it made me shutter. Cadence was sitting on the other side of Ian and amber was dancing with some random guys.

“What’s that?” Ian laughed as he took a sip of his beer. I swear he had drunk more than me but he wasn’t even tipsy.

“Well when I first laid eyes on you I felt a pull towards you but I was also very afraid of you because of the power rolling off of you. Why is that?” I asked as I stared down at my hands. Both cadence and Ian seemed to freeze for only a second before slumping back into the couch.

“Maybe one day I will tell you,” he said and I looked up to see his adorable smirk on his lips once again. Oh those lips. I just wanted to kiss them! No! It had to be the alcohol talking because I didn’t always want to go around kissing random guys. Actually I never wanted to until now. Oh god what was happening to me?

“Why can’t you tell me now?” I asked and cocked my headed to the side. He sighed and ran a hand over his face.

“Just show her Ian,” cadence growled as she stared off into the club. He seemed to growl to himself and he grabbed my hand and drug me off the couch.
