i cant keep lieing to her

I ran my fingers through my hair and sighed. My head snapped up when I heard the door open and I looked over to see Ian standing there with a smile on his face.

                “Where did you go?” I asked as he walked in and closed the door.

                “I went to wake the others. They will be ready in a half hour,” he said formally and I couldn’t help but smile.

                “So we have some time alone?” I asked and cocked my head to the side. He raised an eye brow and smirked at me.

                “Yes we do,” he said slowly as he stepped closer to me. I put my hands on his chest and smiled back at him.

                “That doesn’t mean what you’re thinking. We need to talk,” I said and he frowned down at me.

                “I don’t like talking,” he pouted and I shook my head and laughed.

                “Well then to bad. Look Ian I know what you are but I don’t know who you are,” I said and he sighed and ran his fingers through his hair.

                “Destiny I would love to tell you about me but it will take days to get through everything,” he said and I just looked at him.

                “Well then you better get started,” I said and he smirked at me and pulled me into his arms.

                “That’s the thing where do I begin?” he asked. It was as if he was asking himself the question and I knew then that what he had to tell me wasn’t going to be all that great and happy.

                “Okay so I want to know one thing,” Karley said as she lifted her eyes up from her plate and looked around the table. Ian squeezed my knee under the table and I noticed the others stiffen. “Who the hell are you?”

                Ian and the others looked at each other and started to laugh and I couldn’t help but giggle but Karley just glared at us.

                “I’m being serious,” she snapped and everyone seemed to turn serious and I instantly lowered my eyes to my plate. “Like are you guy’s vampires or something because no one looks as good as you guys.” Instantly the table fell silent and Ian let out a breath but everyone else seemed to hold theirs. I watched as Karley’s eye brows shot up.

                “It’s true you are vampires!” she practically shouted and the rest of the restaurant turned to stare at us.

                “Would you shut her up!” cadence growled and Ian let out a low growl under his breath and she just glared at him. What was wrong with her?

                “Karley we’re not vampires,” Dexter explained and she looked over at him and he looked down at her with his eyes bright and a warm smile on his lips and my heart warmed at the look. It had been the same look Ian had given me so that only meant one thing. Karley was Dexter’s mate but she had no idea what he was.

                “Dexter tell her,” Ian growled and Dexter’s eyes turned hard and his head snapped to stare at Ian.

                “No,” he growled lowly and I watched painfully as the hurt hit Karley and her eyes started to water. I opened my mouth to say something to her but she shot up from the table and ran out of the restaurant.

                “I uh better go talk to her,” I whispered and stood up and followed Karley out onto the street. I found her sitting on a bench frowning down at her hands.

                “I left my car at the hotel so now I’m stuck here until they drive me back,” she sighed without looking up.

                “Wouldn’t a cab work?” I asked and sat beside her.

                “My purse is in my car,” she muttered.

                “Ah. Karley talk to me why are you so upset about this?” I asked and looked over at her. She lifted her head and looked at me.

                “Because I feel something towards Dexter and I’m scared of what it is because I have never felt it before but I don’t want it to stop destiny. I just feel that I want to be with him forever,” she confessed.

                “I know how you feel,” I muttered and she eyed me so I quickly moved on. “if you care about him Karley then you wouldn’t let this little thing strip him away from you. he will eventually open up to you but he has been clearly hurt in the past you just need to look past all that and see who he really is.”

                “You sounded very grown up there destiny,” she said and I shook my head and laughed.

                “Thanks Karley but I’m being serious. Now go back in there and pretend nothing happened,” I said and she got to her feet and smiled. She walked towards the door but I stayed seated because I saw Ian walk out. He smiled at Karley just as she slipped back inside.

                “She right you know. You did sound very grown up,” he said and I scowled at him.

                “Were you listening to us?” I growled.

                “Yeah I was,” he said proudly and I shook my head.

                “Stupid wolf hearing. Okay new rules. You stay out of my head unless I say you can be in there and second no listening into private conversations with my friends,” I said lowly and he nodded his head.

                “Fair enough but you will be me to listen to your thoughts,” he joked as he walked over to me. I rolled my eyes and smirked.

                “In your dreams baby,” I said and got to my feet.

                “Well I’m pretty sure I’m already in my dreams so say the words,” he whispered as he stared down at me.

                “Stay out of my head,” I whispered back and he frowned and I couldn’t help but burst out laughing. “Come on let’s get back inside.”

                “Fine but you will say the words,” he muttered and followed me back inside. Karley was sitting talking with Dexter and I couldn’t help but smile as Ian and I sat back down. Cadence glanced at me and scowled before she turned to glare down at her food. Did she hate me or something?

hey guys!! so heres the next part. now I want to take this opportunity to say that I have planned the fifth book. and I know what your thinking. "seriously another book" right? well I want to let you know it will be sort of like this one and a run off. its one I just thought of and would really help move this story even more. but I have one problem.  I cant think of a tittle so once again I need you my loving fans to come up with names! so please write your ideas in the comment box or send me a message.
