I walked forward and sat on his bed and stared down into my hands as the tears continued to fall. I knew I had a connection to Ian but was it enough for me to pick up everything and leave to come live with him? It was hard enough keeping his secret but if I had to say good bye to my family because of the stupid mate link then I was going to fall apart. I was beginning to wonder if giving this whole thing a chance was a bad idea. Would I regret it in the end or would it be the best decision of my life?

There was a soft knock on the door but before I could answer amber walked into the room and closed the door softly behind her.

“Ian told me you would be up here,” she said softly and I just stared at her. “Look I know this is tough to take in destiny but Ian needs someone like you in his life. He lost his parents before he even got a chance to know them. He always had beta blood in him but he didn’t join this pack until he was fourteen where he met Dexter and cadence where they became best friends but cadence went through a real hard time a few years ago and Ian and Dexter were right there with her. Ian has no real family and has always wanted a mate to love so when you came along we were all over joyed but he was scared. He didn’t want to lose you because your human and he wasn’t sure you would understand but you have handled everything very well but if you walk out now it will tear Ian apart.” I eyed her for a second before I sighed.

“I’m not the type to just run away when things get complicated amber. I said I would give things a chance and I will but when it comes to time for me to move here I don’t know if I can,” I sighed and ran a hand through my blond hair.

“Well you should know that Ian said he would leave the pack just to be with you,” she said and I gaped at her. By the way he spoke of them I knew that his pack was everything to him and he wasn’t willing to leave them just for me? “Now come on no more serious talk we need to get you ready for the pack meeting.”

I smiled gratefully at her and followed her into the attached bathroom when she started to work on my hair and I was glad for the distraction.

“Okay your all ready,” amber said as she stepped away from me and smiled. I turned to look at myself in the mirror and my mouth fell open. My hair was done up in a nicely styled bun and my bright blue eyes shone with a smile. I wore a tight white dress with one strap that was covered in gems that also wrapped around one side of my waist. My make was soft but perfectly done. I had never looked so good.

“I look amazing,” I whispered and amber smiled at me.

“Yes you do. Now you better get down stairs Ian and Dexter are waiting,” she said and pulled me towards the door. I took a deep breath and stood at the top of the stairs where Ian stared up at me in shock. I slowly walked down the stairs careful not to trip in the heels I wore. I reached Ian and he just stared at me.

“You look beautiful destiny,” he breathed and wrapped a hand around my waist and pulled me closer to him. “Not that you don’t look beautiful all the time.” I felt the blush rise to my cheeks and a smile touched my lips.

“You don’t look to bad yourself mister beta,” I whispered and wrapped my arms around his neck. He wore a black suit with a white tie that made him look extremely sexy.

“Okay before you two have sex right here lets go,” Dexter growled and walked towards the back door. Ian sighed but managed to kiss my cheek and pull me after Dexter. Karley joined Dexter and cadence joined amber behind us. Dexter exited the house first with Ian and I right behind him and amber and cadence just steps behind. Hundreds of pairs of eyes turned to stare at us making me want to shrink against Ian but he held me close to him with an arm around my waist.
