Johns Pov

Nicole was with everyone going to go pick out a dress I just hope her mom wasn't causing her any problems because I didn't want her to be stressing over something that should be so calming Sasha didn't want to go because she said this seemed more of a thing for them to do since she had no real connection with Nicole so she wouldn't be of much help even though Nicole insisted she go she just said no and Nicole understood and didn't continue to pressure her so now we were here in the kitchen with Lilly helping her bake Nicole brownies because she knew that this would make a great treat for her when she came back, Nicole has taken a serious liking to Lilly and wants her to stay with us even after the baby is born.

"Don't you think we're using a little too much chocolate." Sasha said watching Lilly more chocolate.

"No I think it's just enough to satisfy Nicole's sweet tooth and I used a bit of dark chocolate to so it won't be too sweet because John has told me how she gets after having a ton of sugar also it wouldn't be that good for the baby." She said letting Sasha continue to stir.

"I hope she's able to pick out a dress today and her mother doesn't stress her out." I said as I was washing dishes.

"What's up with her mother isn't your mom supposed to be your best friend I know mine is." Sasha said.

"Well I guess she wants things to go a certain way because being in the public eye make you want people to think a certain thing she's been like that since I could remember." I said and she nodded.

"I see." She said handing Lilly the mix after she was done.

"Yeah and I know her mother doesn't mean anything bad it's just the way she's been brought up." I said.

"Her Nanna doesn't seem like that at all she's really sweet I got to spend some time with her when you and Nicole were at school." She said

"Oh that's great, she isn't but I don't know if she used to be." I said as we headed to the living room when Lilly kicked us out of the kitchen.

"So do you want to go watch a movie or something?" Sasha said before we sat down.

"Yeah we can see anything except for the Age Of Adeline, I'm taking Nicole tomorrow she's been dying to see it." I said

"Oh that's fine I don't like all that sappy romantic stuff." She said scrunching up her face.

"Okay let's go." I said grabbing my keys and we headed out.

Nikki's Pov

I stood up there looking at myself in the dress my mother had chosen and it's pretty yes but I don't like it, this is the only one I don't really like and it can't be altered in case my stomach begins to show before the wedding which she has told me I couldn't call it a wedding but a ceremony because a wedding involves over one hundred people and I barely knew 10 of my one family not included of course so how many people did she actually expect at our wedding? Our real wedding after the baby was born? That if I even let her be in charge of that which I probably won't! Ugh this is exactly why I didn't want her here.

"Nicole that dress looks beautiful on you." My mother said as I wore the dress she kept pushing.

"I don't know I kinda want to try on the one Carol and Patty liked again." I said they looked happy I said that but not my mom.
