Johns Pov

After 7 hours in the air we finally landed and it was morning in Boston I woke up Nicole and we got off the plane and waited for our bags to be brought out then we headed to the parking lot to look for Nicole's Ranger Rover, after we found it in the parking lot Nicole got the keys from where Brianna said she would leave them and opened the truck so that I could put the bags in the back, after I asked her if she would drive or I would she tossed me the keys and said she was too tired to drive so I should.

After an hour of driving we finally made it to her house where Brianna and her Nanna were already at.

"Hello Nicole how are you?" Her mother said, Nicole just ignored her and walked up stairs.

"Sorry Mrs. Garcia she's just a bit tired and cranky." I said, she nodded and I headed upstairs with her things.

When I walked up to her old room I saw her looking around, she smiled at everything.

"Are you okay?" I said wrapping my arms around her.

"Yeah sorry I'm just in no mood to talk to my mother oh and we need to go shopping." She said walking over to the bed laying down.

"What for?" I said laying done next to her.

"My mother doesn't think it's socially acceptable for me to wear the same dress I wore last year to the ball so I have to buy a new one." She said annoyed. "I just don't know how I will be able to handle 2 whole weeks here with her." She said and I knew that with the baby and all Nicole should be stress free.

"Hey I have an idea." I said and she looked at me.

"I'm listening." She said.

"Okay so today is Monday, the pageant isn't until Friday right?" I said and she nodded.

"Right." She said.

"What if we go say hi to your dad then have dinner at my house with my parents, then stay here for the night, then early tomorrow morning we head into New York and stay at my place there and say we stayed all week because you couldn't find a dress?" I said and I saw her eyes light up like that huge Christmas tree they had in the living room.

"Your a complete genius." She said kissing me.

I knew that would make her happy also I wanted to be there because I missed being alone with her just us two and what better place then where we first made love.

Nikki's Pov

After John told me that we would spend the week away from my mother and in New York where he first made me his, it made me so happy I knew he was mostly thinking about the baby he doesn't think I heard but the doctor told him that my blood pressure was high so that I needed to be stress free and having my mom on my case every second of the day would kill me, either way I was happy because New York would be like our little home away from home I loved that place.

"Okay so I'll ask Brianna what time my dad comes home and can you tell your mom if she can make that chocolate brownie fudge cake that I love so much?" I said, he smiled at me and pulled me to him.

"Are you having your first cravings?" He said, I nodded.

"Yes, since I booked the flight I've had that craving I need it." I said, he laughed and nodded.
