John's Pov

When Nicole came by to tell me that she would have dinner with me my heart just stopped I can't believe that I would get to spend an entire dinner with her, we hasn't done that in such a long time the best part is that Ariel likes to eat her dinner at 7:00 and be in bed by 8:00 and that's when Nicole said she would be here maybe we can finally talk about everything that happened and maybe just maybe she can tell me she loves me, I miss hearing those words from her, Eve told me to go for it so I know she will be happy for me, everyone will be happy for us, they know that this is what I have wanted since she left and having Ariel hasn't changed that one bit she will always know who her mother is she could have to but I don't think Nicole ever wants to be a step mother to my kids she probably hates the fact that Ariels mother is Eve.

I shook all of those thoughts out of my head I was getting way ahead of myself she was just coming to dinner Joe probably made her do it because I know for a fact that they had no plans that look on his face said it all. At this point it didn't matter she was going to be here with me and that's all that matters now I want this to be perfect.

I headed back to the table with Ariel and we continued our breakfast when she was done I cleaned everything up, then cleaned her up and we headed to the park I was kind of trying to make her tired so that when it got to bed time she was so tired that she just knocked out so we stayed at the park for about two hours just running around when she was too tired that even Winston was stopping to lay down, we headed to the supermarket and I grabbed the things I needed so dinner and a special treat that I know she would just love, we finished at the store and headed to the florist I picked out a beautiful arrangement of roses for her along with another dozen so I could put some around the house and the dinner table I couldn't leave without getting my baby girl anything so I got her two white roses with a small dog holding the vase it put a smile on her face which also made me happy.

We went home and I put everything away it was 3:00 by the time I got home so I decided to call Eve to see how she was.

"Hello." She said after the third ring.

"Hey how's your mom?" I said starting to marinate the meat I bought for dinner.

"She's good, umm there's something I need to tell you but I don't know if I should do it over the phone." She said sounding worried.

"What is it?" I said.

"Well my mom wants to live with us and the nurses think it's a good idea because they think she doesn't have much time left but I know you're not very fond of her and its your house so if you don't want her there I totally understand." She said, I knew she was crying I heard her cry over the phone so many times.

"Eve it's our house you're my girlfriend and you're like my wife so yea she can come live with us." I said.

"Are you sure? John I'm the one who's encouraging you to go after Nicole if it happens I don't want to be a burden on you." She said.

"No don't worry about it we will cross that bridge when we come to it." I said.

"Thank you so much." She said sounding so relived.

"Don't even worry about it after everything you have done for me it's the least I can do." I said and I meant it she's done so much for me that there isn't anything I wouldn't do for her.
