Ang chaos sa buhay ko ay nagsimula noong may isang lalaki na sumulpot sa likod ko habang ako ay nag-cocomputer.

I am Anncel De Vega.

All my life I never liked guys. Not that I’m a lesbian, but because I am a “man hater”. Wonder why I hate men? Well, I grew up without a dad. Hindi sya patay. Iniwan nya kami. I know I’m over-generalizing things but I am afraid to end up like my mother.

But that “man Hater” views of mine changed one faithful day. It was the start of my college life, super kabado ako. Walang kilala, walang kahit sino. I grew up in the states and I really don’t know anyone here in the Philippines but my grandma Lynn.

I am so scared that I might trip every time I make a single step. I met my professors and made it through the whole day. I didn’t talk to anyone. I don’t even want to. I just want to exist. 

It was raining hard at wala akong payong. Nag decide ako na mag stay muna sa library to kill time. I opened the web browser and it took me to the school’s homepage. 

“let’s see what we have here.” As if I was talking to someone.

Madaming events na paparating. May schedule na rin ng Prelims. Pero may isang article na nakakuha ng aking atensyon. “Campus heartthrobs”.

I know, I know, you’re wondering why I opened the link, knowing that I hate boys. Am I right? No? okay.

I clicked on the link. Well, they all look good. Para silang model ng bench body. Sila na gwapo! I don’t really care who they are any way.

“are you researching about me?” May nagsalita sa likod ko. Papatayin ba ako nito sa gulat?!

I looked back.

“Pardon?”

“I said, are you researching about me?” He said, smiling at me. Now I’m pissed.

“Whoah, what makes you say that?” I raised a brow at him. He pointed at the monitor of my laptop. I realized something as I saw the resemblance of his gorgeous face sa picture sa monitor ko. Cyrrus Escuta. Not wanting to pick a fight, I just grabbed my stuff and headed out.

He came running after me and told me I left my book. Kukunin ko na yung libro pero hindi nya agad binitawan.

“bago mo makuha yung libro mo, ano muna miss ang pangalan mo?” He said in a very confident way.
