Hello lovely people,
WELCOME to the start of my book. Firstly this is my first attempt at writing so... yeah. I have wanted to write a Flash fanfic for a while so when I came up with the idea starting with Arrow and thought of Faye I thought, 'Why not?'. So yes, this book will start at the time Barry first appeared on 'Arrow' (which is two episodes) and will continue on from season 1 and hopefully 2 of 'The Flash' and written in the third person. Please note some chapter maybe long while others (such as this chapter) will be short. Secondly, thank you all for reading and I really hope you like it and for the love of Chuck (supernatural fandom arise) Please Do Not plagiarise!
Please enjoy this book :D !

*Semi Edited* Third Person P.O.V
The impatient light-haired brunette tapped her foot repeatedly on the wooden floors. Her high heel shoes clicked rapidly against the wooden floor of the Café as she waited for what felt like an eternity - but what was really ten minutes - for her multiple coffee orders. She had unsurprisingly slept in this morning because of her crappy alarm clock. She had gotten a frantic call from her socially awkward sister about a breaking that occurred at the Queens facility and quickly rushed to get ready. She rushed as she changed into a white dress, her new cream coat and white pumps but unfortunately got coffee duty as punishment. Faye looked around the warm Café just noticing the multiple glares she was receiving from people around the Café because of her constant tapping.
Faye smiled sweetly not bothered at all by the multiple glares. She's dealt with worse. Like the wrath of Oliver Queen. Now that's scary.
"Here you go Miss," The barrister said looking at the brunette with an obviously fake smile on her face but the annoyance clear in her eyes. She handed the well dressed young lady her multiple order of coffee.
"Thank you." Faye simply replied with a fake sweet smile back not wanting to start trouble with anyone while she is running late for work. She quickly took the coffee tray before bolting out the door. She mentally cursed her sister and best friend for giving her coffee duty when she needs to be at the crime scene in case she was needed. After about ten minutes of walking the brunette looked at her watch- which was a bad idea- seeing as though while she was looking down at her watch, trying to balance the cups in her hand and putting her suitcase over her head to shield her from the pouring rain, she failed to notice the frantic looking young man running towards her.
Both being oblivious to where they were going.
As soon as the brunette looked up she regretted it. In a matter of seconds, she felt the warm liquid soaking her brand new white coat that she bought on sale, while the four other cups, handbag and small suitcase were thankfully saved. Just freaking great. The girl's pink lips pursed as she tried to contain her anger for the person who ruined her new coat and coffee trip, but also at herself for being stupid enough not to bring her umbrella
"Oh Sh-, I-I'm so s-sorry I didn't see you, and I was in a rush my train was late. Well, the second one. The first one I did miss, but that was-"
"Hey, No. It's fine, don't worry about it wasn't all your fault, I wasn't watching where I was going either," Faye responded quickly, effectively cutting off the tall man's ramble.
She looked up to see the man who bumped into her. She was stunned when she saw that the man. He looked to be her age plus he was cute and gave off the nerdy vibe. He was tall with brown hair and light green eyes. As she looked up at the strange green eyes, she couldn't help but feel like she knows him even though she was pretty sure she has never seen him before in her life. Just as she wanted to question him she glanced down at her watch instead and saw how late she was running. Oliver is going to kill me if I'm late again. Deciding that she didn't want to be on the vigilante's bad side today, so she decided to make a run for the facility.
"I'm really sorry. Here." Barry reached down and quickly grabbed money from his pocket giving it the women who he bumped into to hoping she would take it so she could use it to dry clean her obviously new coat.
Though the too were still out in the rain they both gazed into each other's eyes both searching for something, as though they had seen each other before. Barry took this time to study the girl's familiar features. Her light brown hair flowed all the way to her almost to her waist with natural light pink lips and probably 5'6, minus the height of her high heel shoes. What was her most familiar feature about her was her striking ocean blue eyes.
They both studied each other before quickly snapped out of the daze finally getting back to reality and realising that they both have somewhere that they really needed to be.
"Um... thank you kind stranger, but it's fine I don't like to take money from a stranger... you know, never take candy from a stranger, mines never take money from a stranger. Makes me feel cheap..."
Even though Faye called him a stranger there was something about his nerdy vibe and awkwardness that she felt was very similar yet couldn't quite put her finger on it. Barry felt the same way. He didn't know if it was the way she held self or her bright blue eyes, there was just something about her that seems really familiar.
Faye took a stole another quick glance down at her watch realising she was going to get into shit when she got to the facility. Barry followed her action realising he was late as well.
"It was nice to meet you tall dude but you are not the only one running late. I should probably get going. "
Faye let out a small giggle as she recalled his rambling. Barry was surprised that she not only, 1) understood what his rambling was about but also, 2) actually paid attention to what he said.
Out of nowhere, Faye cursed out loud upon the realisation. Maybe a little too loud. She had just realised that she had an umbrella in her handbag. Barry looked at the girl confused and nervous as to why she cursed, then all of a sudden started laughing.
"Sorry, I just realised I have an umbrella in my bag the whole time. Gosh, I am so stupid" Faye's laugh was contagious and Barry couldn't help but laugh along with her. Faye knew she has her moments so she wasn't that embarrassed about her find.
Faye turned to Barry with a genuine smile. She wasn't sure what it was about him but she felt comfortable with him, like an old friend. She quickly got the umbrella out of her bag and held it high so that the stranger could fit underneath with her seeing as though he only had a magazine to protect him from the rain.
"So were you headed in such a rush?" Faye raised her perfectly sculpted eyebrow in question
"uhh I'm actually headed to a facility to help with a case." Barry answered honestly
Faye perked up at this.
"You don't say" She mused, pausing for a second before continuing, "well that's funny because I am just heading to a facility. Assuming that this facility is the one that was robbed. The Queen facility?"
Barry stood there shocked not knowing she was apart of their team. Small world... he thought.
"Well, what are we waiting for.. Let's go before my team actually kills me this time" Oh who am I kidding, I'm dead no matter what, Faye added mentally.
They both chuckled and dashed off to The Queen's facility. I hope they don't ask about the coffee.
